Children Nail Biting
Isn't it painful as a parent to watch your children bite their nails? For me at least it was. I had a daughter who was 12 and she couldn't stop biting her nails. I started by saying "no", and as she continued I got angry at her.
This was the worst thing to do.
When you prohibit or punish an habit, you are in fact reinforcing it! A psychological fact is that saying NO is as useful as saying YES. So, a year has passed and she no longer bites her nails.
