How To Build Solar Panels
Today we do have options. There are many things we can be doing right now that are affordable. I started with baby steps; like buying solar flashlights, and crank radios with flashlights, and a solar oven, because that was all that I could afford. They didn't seem like that much of a big deal at the time, but it sure felt good to be able to take my radios with me anywhere, and never have to worry about batteries again. The oven is great for cooking outdoors in the summer too, I live in the south, and it's great not to have to heat up the kitchen to bake. Why You Need To Build Solar Panels
Start Creating Your Own Solar Power Today
With our country in the shape it is today, no one knows what the future holds for us, or what our lives will be like this same time next year. Many experts are predicting that we will be spending most of our time just trying to provide our families with the basic essentails we need to survive. When I first decided to check into converting my home to SOLAR POWER many years ago, the estimate was around $30,000.00. This amount was no where near my budget, so I just kept paying the power co. every month and put the thought of living off the grid out of my mind.When the economy started to take it's downward spiral, I knew that I really needed to do something to lower my monthly expenses even more. - Just wanted to say hi, and thanks for stopping by my lens. I love this one! I love your solar radio and oven selections. We have 2 solar radios, one with weather band, and one without. I just realized the importance of having the weatherband last night. We had a really bad storm, no power - so no satellite to check for tornadoes. I grabbed the wrong one, and had to hunt for the one with the weatherband - in the dark. All turned out well though, I used the one to find the other, and no tornado. Today it is sunny. :)
