First off,let me say by stopping smoking you will live longer,healthier,you will feel
better,you will BE better,more confident,more socially acceptable.
It will not really matter when you quit,it will only matter THAT you stopped.
However smoking is such a severe addiction both physically and mentally that you need
to use every advantage you can find.
One of the things you can do to give yourself a better chance is to stop smoking the
first thing Friday morning.
By far the worst days of withdraw are the second and third days. By stopping on Friday
morning your worst withdraw will be on the two weekend days when you are not at work.
You will be able to stay inside and wait it out or you will be able to be out and busy
busy,busy.(and not thinking about the effects).
By the time you go back to work on Monday you will go back as a non-smoker.
