Storing photos online.

23 Photo SharingHoy day with so many new services of the much-named Web 2.0 we can not surprising that there is more of the same. But especially there is one field in which every time we have more to choose from: Photograph. Of course, the undisputed leaders in this field are Flickr and Sharefile.com. Personally I am with Sharefile.com, not only through space, but also by the ease of use. In addition to these two services, there is one that drew my attention, it is called 23.

23 In addition to storing photos, we can organize them into albums, in which we can write and comment on each photo. We can also create a calendar which Included in the pictures and besides, we can use tags on each one.

Here we have three ways to upload pictures from the PC through the browser, via email or from any mobile device, in addition to 23 can send any of the photos we have housed there, to others via email. An important feature, which also exists in Flickr, is that one can allow their contacts to stop comments on the photographs that we have accommodated. Once uploaded photos can add tags, descriptions and configure the issue of privacy, or we can put as public or private. We can sort photos in an album in different ways, alphabetically, by date of the photo or date on which go up and many other features that make 23 is a service rather than interesting.

Secure File Transfer

This site gives us the ability to create groups of individuals related to a topic, this is called PhotoGroups. They can be public or private and allow people to integrate, share their photographs. The methods to upload the photos are the same as explained in the preceding paragraph. As part of a group of pictures, people involved in the same can discuss the photos are uploaded or any other item that they are willing.

23 was founded in 2004 by Thomas Madsen-Mygdal and has its headquarters in Europe. The technical team is composed, in addition to its founder, 5 more people and the truth that are efficient, because this site works very well, at least on the evidence I did, I liked a lot. If, as I said before and as many of you are thinking, is more of the same, but it is an alternative we have to accommodate more photos.
