Stoves are the Center of the Home and Symbolize Warmth and Friendship

Stoves are a key part of every home. Whether they are used to warm a home or cook a meal they are associated with the joy of fellowship and the laughter of friends and family and are often the center attraction in the home. Kitchens everywhere offer the traditional stove to cook on. Natural gas or electric stoves are the usual cooking source in the home. Natural gas emits a flame that heats the bottom of a pot or pan and cooks the food. An electric stove emits electrical heat that warms the bottom of the pot or pan and cooks the food. There are different types of stoves that are used to cook a meal and warm a home.

Cast Iron or Potbelly Stove
The cast iron stove is also known as a potbelly stove. This type of stove offers a vintage look to the kitchen, a way to cook and prepare meals, and heat to the home. Cast iron stoves are usually purchased new with a vintage look. This is because the new stoves are made of steel which is easier to clean and an energy efficiency that the antique models cannot provide. Cast iron or potbelly stoves offer a large space to cook on. They are perfect for a large family or for an individual who enjoys cooking gourmet style. These stoves provide space for many dishes to be prepared at one time. These stoves also provide warmth. You can burn wood, briquettes, or coal inside the fire box for added heat in a drafty home. For the individual who does not favor going outdoors and carrying in logs, or adding coal or briquettes some stoves can be converted to use gas or electric.

Pellet Stove
A Pellet Stove can be used in any area of the home for warm. Pellet stoves offer warmth and convenience. Pellet stoves can actually load the pellets automatically on some models. These stoves can even be used on a patio in cool weather. Enjoying an outdoor patio with the warmth of a Pellet Stove is a great experience. Picture the brisk autumn air and the wind moving through the trees while you sip a hot cup of tea next to a warm Pellet Stove.

Natural Gas Stove
A natural gas stove is used to cook many meals in homes. These stoves use gas to ignite a flame that warms the stove's burners. Natural gas inserts can also be placed into an existing fireplace to replace the need for burning natural logs. Gas inserts have logs that look real and that provide the ambiance of a fireplace without the maintenance of real wood. These units warm large spaces and keep the electric bill at a minimum.

Stoves are used to warm homes, cook meals and enjoy fellowship. Stoves are often the center of the home and symbolize warmth and friendship.
