The Brides of March & Uses for a Wedding Dress After the Wedding
Ranked #6,761 in People, #121,325 overall
Finally, a use for wedding gowns after the wedding!
From Wiki: The Brides of March is an annual Cacophony Society event that takes place in San Francisco around March 15th. Intended as a pun on the term Ides of March and a parody of weddings in western culture. The event, which began in 1999, is basically a pub crawl while wearing a thrift store wedding dress.
Having owned a bridal salon for 30 years, people ask me what can they do after the wedding with their dress...finally, here's you answer. I've never seen so many happy people in a wedding dress. They look like they are having more fun than when it was originally worn. The humor of the situation is fun to enjoy.
My reaction: Hysterical laughter. What fun! Maybe we'll organize something in our area. Thank God cheap chantilly lace and butt bows are a thing of the past!
I Don't!

- Both my ex-wives kept their wedding dresses hanging in a closet throughout our marriage, saying they'd wear them occasionally. Neither one ever did. Thanks for this lens. I hope people read and heed.
