Strategic Communications

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

The same question confronts many companies daily that have developed a new product or service -- or are repositioning an existing one -- but have not made the same commitment to marketing it properly to all of their key audiences.

The days of the "if I build it, they will come" marketing philosophy (so wonderful in the film "Field of Dreams") are long gone. Today, companies must have both a business plan and a marketing plan - and execute them both - to be successful in today's hyper-competitive marketplace.

This lens is designed to offer practical advice and information on strategic communications; how to gain mindshare first and then market share by proactively marketing your company and its products and services to all of its key audiences -- customers, business partners and the media and analyst communities.

With this information, you will be able to ensure that your company's message is heard loud and clear - and by the largest possible audience -- unlike that lonely tree falling in the forest.

Cache-A Appoints Strategy + Communications For Public Relations

WESTON, CT - Underscoring its experience in the media and entertainment technology sector, Strategy + Communications has been appointed by Cache-A Corporation to introduce its new line of professional video storage solutions. The agency will be handling online and traditional public relations and trade show support as well as providing marketing consulting for the company. The first product made its debut at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Convention in Las Vegas, NV, at the end of April.

The principals of Cache-A - Phil Ritti, Mark Ostlund and Tom Goldberg - first worked with Strategy + Communications to launch the A-Series line of professional video storage products when they were with Quantum Corp. The A-Series technology won many prestigious industry awards over the past four years and has been integrated into digital video acquisition, digital film and postproduction file-based workflows.

"When we started our company and looked for marketing and public relations counsel, we quickly realized that we wanted to continue a winning relationship," said Phil Ritti, President and CEO of Cache-A. "With their deep knowledge of our marketplace, results-oriented focus and outstanding personal service, we really consider Randy Savicky and Strategy + Communications an integral part of our team."

"We are honored to work with the team at Cache-A and look forward to building on a great foundation," said Randy Savicky, Founder and CEO of Strategy + Communications. "In today's ultra-competitive marketplace, it is imperative that companies positively influence their customers with clear and consistent messages to build their brand, drive prospects and help close sales.
