One Piece : Adventures of Straw Hat Pirates

One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy, inspired by his childhood hero "Red Haired" Shanks, sets out on a journey to be a great pirate. Luffy greatest ambition is to find the world's ultimate treasure, One Piece, the legendary treasure of the King of the Pirates, Gol D Roger. Also to become the next King of the Pirates.

Luffy first through the sea of East Blue and then through the Grand Line. He follows the path of the deceased King of the Pirates, Gold Roger, from island to island on his way to the great treasure One Piece. On his way, his crew grows to have a swordsman, "Pirate Hunter" Roronoa Zoro; a navigator, "Cat Burglar" Nami; a sharpshooter, "Sogeking" Usopp; a cook, "Black Leg" Sanji; a doctor, "Cotton Candy Lover" Tony Tony Chopper; an archaeologist, "Demon Child" Nico Robin; a shipwright, "Cyborg" Franky; and a musician, "Just Dead Bones" Brook.

During the course of the story, the crew contends with other pirate crews, the royal Seven Warlords of the Sea A.K.A Shichibukai and the Marines. The latter are the subordinates of the corrupt World Government, who apparently seek justice by ending the Golden Age of Pirates. Many background story elements involve the delicate balance of power between the World Government and the world's most powerful pirate crews, especially the Four Emperors, the four most powerful pirates in the world.

The founder and captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy is currently one of eleven rookie pirates who have been reffered to as "The Eleven Supernovas", having a bounty of 300,000,000 and become the second highest bounty in The Eleven Supernovas. Luffy has extraordinary inhuman strength, he has that power from eating devil fruit the Gomu Gomu no Mi (Rubbber Rubber Fruit), which is one of the rare and legendary Devil Fruits. Because of that his body can stretch like a rubber and also extremely durable and virtually immune to blunt objects such as bullet, punches and electricity. But eventhough he's rubber man, he's still normally susceptible to sharp objects such as swords and knives. Like all Devill Fruit users, luffy can't swim because they will get weak if they submerged in sea water and also weak with seastone.

Roronoa Zoro is former pirate bounty hunter. He was the first member to join the Sraw Hat Pirates. He is a master swordsman, user of the santoryu style (using 3 swords). Zoro was labeled as one of the eleven pirates referred to as "The Eleven Supernovas," having a bounty of 120,000,000. He is one of the top three fighters in the crew. He has a dream want become the greatest swordman and want to defeat Juraquile Mihawk, one of the Shicibukai and a number one swordman.

Nami is a pirate and the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates. She is officially the 5th member of the crew after defeating Arlong, and the second to join. She briefly betrays the crew during the Baratie Arc and rejoins at the end of the Arlong Arc after her past and true intentions are revealed.

Usopp is a pirate and the sharpshooter of the Straw Hat Pirates. When Usopp was first introduced, he was often labeled as the "Liar" of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is the fourth member of the crew, the third to join, and also the third to rejoin at the end of the Post Enies Lobby story arc. He is also known by his alternate name "Sogeking."

Sanji is a pirate and the chef of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is the fifth member of the crew and the fourth to join. Since he was born in the North Blue, he is the first Straw Hat not to originate from the East Blue. Being labeled as one of the "Monster Trio," he's one of the top three fighters in the crew, the other two being Luffy and Zoro. His main goal is to find the rumored All Blue which is where the East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue meet.

Tony Tony Chopper is the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is a reindeer that ate the Hito Hito no Mi, zoan class devil fruit, which allows him transform into a human-reindeer hybrid. The fruit has granted him more than mere super human streght transformation, human intelligence, and allow him to speak and think like human. That's way allowed chopper to become a doctor. and comes from Drum Island, which makes him the only member of the Straw Hat Pirate Crew who was born on the Grand Line. He is the sixth member of the crew and the fifth to join.

Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. She was originally introduced as the Vice President of Baroque Worksknown as Miss All Sunday before joining up with the Straw Hats. She is the seventh member of the crew, the sixth to join, and the second to rejoin, doing so during the Enies Lobby story arc. She was also the first member to have been a former villain. She is most Wanted criminal sought after by the government of the world as it is considered as a demon that could disrupt the peace of the world. Her bounty reward was very high when she was eight years old. Hana hana devil fruit-eaters that can double limbs everywhere (but more often duplicate his hand).

Franky is the shipwright for the Straw Hat Pirates. He is a 34 year old cyborg from Water 7, and was introduced in the story as the leader of the Franky Family, a group of ship dismantlers. He was originally named Cutty Flam until he threw away his original name for his nickname per the request by Iceburg to hide his identity. Franky and his followers were originally introduced as antagonists of the Water 7 Arc against the Straw Hats until circumstances forced them to become allies. Because the request of the Franky Family, Franky was allowed to join the Straw Hats to fulfill his dream. He is the eighth member of the Straw Hat crew and the seventh to join Luffy's crew. He is also the second member to have been a former villain (the first being Nico Robin).

Brook is the musician of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is afro-haired human skull the Straw Hats found onboard a ghost ship after drifting into the Florian Triangle. He is a Devil Fruit user who ate the Yomi Yomi no Mi and is an undead being brought back into a pseudo-immortal state because of its powers. He is the ninth member of the Straw Hat crew and the eighth to join Luffy's crew. He is also one of the two swordsmen onboard their current ship with the other being Zoro. He fills the role of the long awaited musician that Luffy wanted for his crew since his journey began.
