Something's Missing... It's the Whole Me!
With this lens, I will attempt to tie me all together. At times I feel discombobulated ... don't you just love that word, dis-com-bob-ulated? The dictionary says its meaning is to have self-possession upset. OK, will the real me stand up?
I am a Christian first and foremost with my primary allegiance going to Jesus Christ.
I am Strayspay, a dyed-in-the-wool animal lover and rescuer, who produces lenses about our rescued animals.
I am Abbyz Attic, an online bookseller specializing in used textbooks and Christian books. In three years my husband and I have accumulated 10,000 books with very little capital investment and I have lenses about how that was accomplished and, the Lord willing, I will continue to produce book buying and selling lenses.
I am Carol T, married to a great husband and with two great children and five wonderful grandchildren. I love reading good books and doing book review lenses. Pat, my husband, and I live in the very southernmost regions of Oklahoma just 17 miles from the Texas border in the beautiful Lake Texoma area.

What Zit Mean, Strayspay?
We lived in a college town and worked at a university in support positions when we acquired our first stray, a small shaggy terrier mix that my husband named Benji (more exotic names for me thank you), but Benji joined us shortly before my husband was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. Dogs somehow know how to comfort without words and Benji was always there for Pat. From then on it was a steady stream of dogs that we grabbed from the side of a busy highway or a starving puppy we found wandering on the parking lot of the university or plucked from the high kill animal shelter. We think dogs (and cats too certainly but we've never had luck combining the two) deserve a chance at a pleasant life with someone to love. They offer their love freely and will be loyal unto death.
What Brought Me to Squidoo
or Should I Say Who?
Squidoo welcomed me as a member two years ago but I made only one lens and then I got drawn away with other things.A good friend, Susan52, is in an online group to which I belong and she had talked from time to time about what she was doing in Squidoo. It sounded so challenging and so much fun - I guess the time was just right this time because I started again about 2-1/2 months ago and have since made 50+ lenses and I'm solidly hooked. I'm so in love, in fact, that I wrote a love letter to Squidoo www.squidoo.com/ declarationoflove

- Thank you for your rating! My himalayan cat died three months ago now, and while I'm not getting another cat for quite some time since I still am devastated, I'm definitely thinking of adopting a stray one!

- Wow! Discombobulated is one of my favorite words...I think you have done a very good job of combobulating yourself in this lens! I'm new on Squidoo and can hardly believe how many great lenses you've published! 5 Stars!
