Great ideas for stress relief gifts!

I am prone to excessive stress so over the years I have learned a combination of things that works well for me. You have listed many of the components in your article. The two elements I didn't not see on your list was a warm bath with a few drops of lavender essential oil and Epsom salts and a nap. The salts relax the muscles while the essential oils are a calming aroma therapy. The nap is to refresh and rest. Sometimes (in my case) stress is due to lack of quality sleep.

A combination that works well for me is Tai Chi, then the relaxing Epsom salt and lavender bath...then tea and a nap. If I can do this three or four times a week (trade television time for self care) I find my life is easier to cope with.

I have emailed the lens URL to some friends whom I know the ideas will be very useful. I personally favor heavy exercising and jogging till exhaustion. That makes me sleep better and changes the negative mental chatter.

    Thank you.

This is a topic that I've just written about in my posts as for one concept that maybe over looked is that to relieve stress in the form of games is to win easily. Not to blunder anymore but, to revive the ease to smile.

I can definitely testify to the power of yoga - I wasn't a believer at first, but I went down to the gym for a free session and fell in love with it. It's definitely harder than it looks - I didn't think it would be both a stress reliever AND a calorie burner - whew! Great lens!
