- Thanks Kalomi for the feedback. Sara, our dog, and Lucy, our cat, used to fill our home with joy, and help with the stress that we all live with. I also think that having pets encourages us to get exercise, just walking Sara in the morning and afternoon was good for me. Both Sara and Lucy have since passed on, but when we moved to Virginia, a cat that lived in our neighborhood adopted us, and filled the emptiness that came with the death of both of our beloved friends. So, now, we have a new friend that loves us and also is there when we get home, greeting us as we come to the door. Life is good!

- Great articles! My cats are the best when it comes to daily stress. When I get home from work, they greet me at the door and follow me around the house. Then when I sit at the computer, they love to stay in the room and keep me company. They definitely help me to relax and they're less expensive than therapy.
