You might want to protect your health by reducing stress. Prevent premature aging or burnout. Or maybe you simply want to enjoy your life more and not let stress control and manage you, your relationships, your personal and professional life.
Your reason for wanting to prent stress is important. Whatever it is, it is eligible for you.
If your reason comes from you and not from someone else (spouse, friend, boss) it will be easier for you to make a healthy change for good.
When you are clear about your WHY focus on it and dont let people around you doubt your goal. Have you noticed how much of your daily stress comes from external sources such as people around you, environment to name just few?
Beware negative people: they drain you and your precious energy. In the era of factice life and chronic stress your energy supplies tend to be already naturally low.
Negative people are like human black holes and they can suck the life out of you.
Even if you try to maintain your positivism it can not be enough, outside negativity ends up completely draining you. Negative people can make you feel exhausted.
Surround yourself with good energy instead when you want to prevent stress.
Simplify your Life and Mind
Simplifying life is a great ways to prevent stress--you cut out stressors before they even get to you!

Simplify does not mean eradicate. To simplify is to make less complex not to cut things out. Reducing and integrating can lead to simplification as well.
Getting to simplicity isn't always a simple process. Start with ways to simplify your life.
Eliminate Tolerations
You are your most precious asset and you have to put yourself on the top of the list. Nobody, believe me, nobody else will ever do this.
Embrace Healthy Lifestyle
Eat high fiber diet , opt for lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, as part of a varies, balanced, de-stress nutrition. Always take your daily vitamins.
Build your coping resources through daily exercise, meditation, yoga or some other form of relaxation on a regular basis. These activities not only prevent stress better but also will help you relax after a stressful day.
Get sound night sleep. Too stressed and anxious to sleep? Try valerian for insomnia, stress and anxiety.
