Here is my Story
I am the owner of The Party Animal and a large part of my business is selling stuffable plush. I also have a daughter who loves to collect stuffed animals. So of course my daughter's room is overloaded with them. I was tired of having bins all over full of them and yes I even got her to donate some to charity, but even with that we still seem to have so many she is not ready to part with.So I started searching for solutions to organize them better and ways she can display them. So I have to share some of the great things I have done and products I have found and even purchased myself to help with this Plush Invasion.
When ever I find products that I love I always share them - a lot of parents do not even know that these solutions even exist. So get ready for some great ways to get rid of some of that clutter with some great organizational items.
The Zoo - My Favorite Solution to store Stuffed Animals
This is one of my newest purchases
I could not believe it when I came across The Zoo by Little Zoo Keepers. I saw this product and knew it was just what I was looking for. What I loved about this was that it can hold up to 90 or more Stuffed Animals, it hardly takes up any room and you can see them all inside and my daughter can have easy access to them when she wants to play. The other feature I loved was that the wood is paintable or stainable so it can match any decor. I immediately called my sister in law because she has the same problem with my niece and she wanted one too (see my nieces Zoo below). So we placed our order and I say it was the best thing I have purchased in a long time - see my photos below. You can view the The Photo Gallery and see what some others have done with their Zoo for more great ideas.I ordered mine with a blank face plate without the words "The Zoo" which is an option and I plan on staining mine to match my daughter warm wood furniture color.

One other thing I loved about this company is that they will give you $12 back when you send in a photo of The Zoo in your home - now that is just cool.

Believe it or not there is room for more to fit. When I ordered mine I requested a blank face plate vs the wording of The Zoo because I knew my daughter would have this for a long time. I also stained mine a Cherry Color to match her room furniture. You can stain or paint it to match any decor.
Parents - this is the best thing ever so if you are taken over by plush you must get The Zoo

Storing and Displaying your Webkinz
That is my Daughter's Collection in the Photo
This is another great solution in storing and displaying Webkinz or any other smaller size plush. As you can see in the photo, which is my Daughter's, I took an over the door shoe holder and hung it right on her wall. The pockets are perfect for holding all her Webkinz and smaller size plush and they all have their very own pocket. I used a canvas holder for durability vs. the plastic, but that would work as well. The other cool thing you can do is take Fabric Markers and write the names of each plush on the pockets so you know who belongs there and who is missing.The over the door shoe holders come in many styles so they can match every decor. My son even has one on the back of his door with his favorite plush in it. So it is great for both Boys and Girls.
Obviously my daughter has many more Webkinz and can use another one hung, but The Zoo will be great for holding all of those. This she is using for all of her current favorites. Most of the organizers will hold 20-24 Animals.
This really is a great way to display and it also makes a Unique Gift Idea. It is also great for any age.

I found these in my web travels and thought they were just the coolest things: Animal Bags
. Now I do not have these, but if my daughter was younger I would have had many. This is a great way to store the stuffed animals neatly and have them also be a soft cozy seat for the little kids.It is like having a bean bag chair - but instead of beans it is your stuffed animals it is filled with.
The Animal Bags come in vibrant colors and various shapes and feature Zippered mesh "Windows" allowing the kids to see and access their Stuffed Animals inside. That is just so cool. I really love great storage solutions.

The Stuffed Animal Organizer Tree
This another great solution to cleaning up all of those Stuffed Animals - A Stuffed Animal Organizer Tree.
I actually use these when I am doing local shows with my business The Party Animal, it is an easy way for me to display all the Stuffable Plush Options available to purchase. Mine are actually homemade from wood - see the photo below and keep in mind all my plush hanging are not yet stuffed.How this Works - There are 52 Elastic Bands you use for hanging your Stuffed Animals and Dolls. When they are all hung they make a really cool display in the shape of a tree.
It allows the child easy access to their Plush Friends anytime they want to play and it gets them off the floor and organized.

Another product I have found and really like are Jackpopz. These are great for your Webkinz and smaller Plush Collections. Jackpopz come in many variations from Carriers, Pillowcases to The Grandy Storage. What makes them so unique is the little holes for the plush heads to peek out. It is a great way for the kids to show off their plush friends. They also come in great bright colors so there is something for everyone - Girls and Boys. Donating your Used or New Stuffed Animals
So you are organizing and need to downsize? So what do you do with those Used and New Stuffed Animals you no longer need? Well there are many options out there. I am also big on charity and I am part of an organization called Stuffed Animals for Emergencies (SAFE). - What fun! I did vote too soon though, as after I have seen how many animals you have, I guess we don't really have that much, but they sure can use a bit of organization. Love the zoo.
