Pros and Cons of living in Paradise

I lived in California for the majority of my formative years. After my son was born I decided to move to a quieter place. I been living here since 2006 and still loves it.
This page was made for those who are curious about living in a small island, which is very different from living in a big city.

Disclaimer: no disrespect to any of the Cruzans. I love living here and I want to stay here. St. Croix is Paradise to me!

Glad to read your "list of things you have to deal with." Just about every winter up here in the Pacific Northwest (dark early, and rain, rain, rain), I toy with moving to the Caribbean, or at least some place that's warm all year around... not sure I'd like it there all the time though!
