Hi Nikki!
II'm going to have my internship in a local company in Central West, but I have class in the morning and then no time for me to change my clothes for work. So is there something I can wear that is suitable for both work and school, yet still fashionable? Thank you very much.
Elizabeth
=====================================
Ah interns. Why do I suddenly smell the coffee brewing? Just kidding, darling. But of course you can still be tres chic! Read on and I guarantee it - the only thing you need to prep in between is your makeup.
Here's what I suggest you have in your arsenal:
* Denim Oh blessed denim. For the casual crowd and just about everybody in the world, denim has been upgraded, styled, rinsed, sewn and cut in a million different ways that you can choose what to wear for both office and school.
* Fashion pants You want to be taken seriously but not look that serious. Go for harem pants or trousers with pleated waistbands for starters. Add punch to your look by rolling up the pant cuffs up to your ankles.
* Blouses and dressy Ts. Nothing says style like a good top so make sure you pick a good, versatile one everyday. Look for those with details like flutter sleeves, pleats, fabric-covered buttons, floral prints and bows.
* Cardigans and jackets. How to look cool when the weather turns cooler? Make sure you have those lovely knit cardigans in your wardrobe. Layer them over your favorite summer dresses for an instant and complete top and bottom. For jackets, look for structure. Trench jackets, boyfriend blazers and vests with oversized lapels and shiny, eye-catching hardware keep those pencil skirts and shorts grounded but fab.
* Accessories. Having the right accessories will add the final elegant touches to your outfit. A simple metallic cuff slipped on your wrist and a scarf slipped around your shoulders after school instantly changes your look to corporate chic.
Now go wow 'em!

Putting It Behind You
Hey Nikki!
I'm a 5'5", 120-lbs. girl with wide shoulders and a pretty big behind. Other than that, I have a normal, curvaceous body with long legs. I tend to change my style from extremely boyish to girly throughout the week. It's starting to cool down a little now and I'm starting to wear jeans but the problem is my butt. All my jeans and shorts make my backside look, well, huge! I can't wear skirts either because they ride up awkwardly. So other than exercise, what am I to do? ?!
Emily
=====================================
Emily dear, not all of us can be as perfect as Gisele Bundchen or maybe Alexis Bledel or Leighton Meester. Learn to love your curves, whether you have them in abundance or not.
As for having a prominent behind, there are quick ways to downplay it aside from doing lunges and squats:
* Skirts. Guess what? Skirts don't ride up like shorts! Go for skirts with a slight flare at the bottom and pencil-cuts. Skip the miniskirts.
* A-line Dresses. A-lines show off just how small your waist is but hides the butt. Genius! Wear a belt for emphasis.
* Oversized tees. Those graphic and dressy tees draw attention to their funky colors and eye-popping graphics. . .and not your flaws.
* Shirtdresses and cardigans always go well with shorts to show off those legs.
* Skinny jeans. Hiding your butt means wearing clothes that sculpt and give structure. The more layers of fabric you pile on, the more people will think you definitely have something to hide. Also, think of al the added bulk! Skinny jeans in dark rinse slim your silhouette and allow you to flaunt your long legs with heels or flats.
* Blazers and long jackets You can still rock the boyish look in trendy boyfriend blazers. Make sure to choose those that extend to hip length. Wide shoulders also allow jackets to sit well and give structure. The same idea goes for long jackets, especially those with drawstring waists, ties or cinched with a belt.
