I have tried different Article Marketing Software that are available today in the market and have stumbled upon the good, bad and the really ugly.

Submit Your Article.Com or SYA is, in my opinion, the very best article submission software out there. It is awesome! SYA is an article directory and article submission service at the same time. Submit Your Article distributes each article to a number of article publishing sites. Unfortunately, you need to register with each of them first, and then enter the logins and passwords into the SYA interface.

The distribution network includes a number of high profile article marketing sites, as well as a number of publishing sites that don't require strict log ins. Among others, SYA submits to the following article directories. All of these sites require a registration to get a user name and password which can then be added to the SYA interface:

The article directories then offer other publishers (ezines, blogs, or other website owners) to republish these articles, provided they keep them exactly as they are, including your resource box (with your links back to your website).

What I love about Submit Your Article is that it has an in-built article spinner, or as SYA calls it 'Article Leverage'. This means you quickly enter several variations of your title, introduction and a few other sentences, and SYA spins the article so that each article directory is offered a totally unique article. With Submit Your Article you are not allowed to blatantly promote a product - instead you need to provide information on the topic area. For example, if you're an affiliate for an anti-wrinkle cream you discuss anti-ageing techniques in your article.

You also need to follow the strict Ezine Articles standards (i.e. at least 400 words, proper grammar and spelling) - if the article does not fit this standard it's likely to be rejected by others as well.

The main spinning method with SYA is the Assisted Rewriting/Spinning where the system randomly selects sentences from the initial article and provides the opportunity to write up to 10 variations of each sentence. However, the choice is yours to write 1, 2 or more variations. And should you decide not to spin a specific sentence, by clicking "Save and Next Sentence" the system selects other sentences to spin. You also have the opportunity to edit manually any rewritten sentence directly in the article text.

One of the downsides about SYA is that you're not allowed to enter a link into the main body text. I usually get around this by logging into the Ezine Articles account separately and adding the link to the article (or I ask my outsourcers to do it!). It takes one minute extra, but the high PR back link is worth it.
