Submit Solution & eHarbor, Inc. Profile
Company History, Management and Services
Submit Solution currently serves more than 40,000 clients worldwide. It was started in 2002 as a means to provide search-engine submission services to Web users. After several years, Submit Solution changed its focus to website traffic building. It also offers complete search-engine optimization packages, increasing the ranking of websites on search engines. Getting on the first page of a search is essential in ecommerce, since most online shoppers never look beyond the first two pages of search results.Submit Solution was formed by eHarbor, Inc. and is part of eHarbor's growing number of Web-based products and services.
Company History:
eHarbor, Inc. was originally launched as Internet Promotion Services, Inc. in Provo, Utah in 1996. The company primarily worked with small-business owners, sending search-engine submissions to InfoSeek and Inktomi, and it was one of the first companies to work with DogPile, GoTo (now Yahoo Search Marketing) and Alta Vista in 1996. Internet Promotions enjoyed great success in the burgeoning Internet marketing industry as website owners began to realize the power of search engines to generate new business.
Oliver Bigler joined eHarbor in 2002 after working as a Strategy Business Consultant for the Monitor Group in Cambridge, Mass. Bigler launched a new version of Internet Promotions, targeting a growing segment of the online market: small to mid-size business and ecommerce. Submit Solution was the first entity created under Bigler's leadership, followed shortly thereafter by Real Estate Promoter, which focused on search-engine marketing and lead generation in the fast-growing online real estate market. In 2003, Bigler created a new corporate entity to house the increasing number of divisions. That new entity was named eHarbor, Inc.
eHarbor, Inc. has emerged as one of the fastest-growing Internet technology companies today. Currently valued at more than $6 million, eHarbor is the market leader in search-engine marketing technology and search-engine lead-capturing services for multiple industries. It works to bring top placement and qualified traffic to its clients via partnerships with the top 20 search portals, including Yahoo, Google, and MSN, and generating thousands of targeted, early-market leads for its client base.
The eHarbor office is currently located at 505 E Technology Ave. Building C, Suite 2100 Orem, UT 84097.
Management:
Oliver Bigler is the co-founder and CEO of eHarbor, Inc. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Trade and Finance from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Before founding eHarbor, Bigler worked as a Strategy Business Consultant for Fortune 500 companies, including the aforementioned Monitor Group and American Express Worldwide Marketing in New York, NY. Bigler's strategic expertise allowed him to lead his software company to become the market leader in client procurement for three of the 10 largest existing consumer websites.
Bigler has given several presentations on ecommerce and other topics:
- On November 5, 2005 and December 13, 2005, Bigler gave a presentation entitled "Basic Search Engine Strategies" at a 1-Day Sales and Marketing Executive Workshop.
- He spoke at the "Putting the Net in Network Marketing Conference" in July 2006.
- He teaches a class at the Utah County Association of REALTORS®, entitled "Website Conversion: How Do I Get My Website to Generate Leads?"
As a hobby, Bigler performs with an improvisational comedy group called Comedy Sportz in Provo. In July 2007, he and another member of Comedy Sportz emceed a charity to raise $35,000 for a paraplegic's recovery therapy.
John Russell joined eHarbor, Inc. in 2005 as President and General Manager and brings with him more than 26 years of executive experience in the software industry. Most notably, Russell purchased and doubled the net worth of Legacy Technology, the former software applications division of Sento Corporation, from 1999 to 2003. Russell subsequently consulted in software applications for government entities and Fortune 500 companies, including White Sands Missile Range and Icon Fitness. As the leader of eHarbor, Inc., Russell brings a sense of unity and family as he leads the company on a rapid growth path. Russell also has active leadership roles in his church and community.
Dan Sampson became Vice President of Technology at eHarbor after cutting his teeth in the technology industry when the Internet was still an emerging force. He started with MyFamily.com in 1999 and increased traffic to their homepage to 3 million-plus unique visitors per day. He has since applied that knowledge to build small companies into large ones, including CampusCoverage.com which he took from zero insurance applications to over 2,500 in 2002. Sampson has been with eHarbor for more than two years and has been instrumental in the revamping and streamlining of company management systems and the increase of rapid-deployment products for eHarbor customers. eHarbor's unique website-management and lead-gathering systems are the brainchild of Sampson, who pushes the boundaries of eHarbor's technology every day.
Jake Fackrell is the most recent addition to the eHarbor management team, serving as Vice President of Business Development. Fackrell brings an M.B.A. from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University, along with more than 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and as a founder and innovator in the real-estate marketing industry.
Among Fackrell's many credits:
- He was the force behind the dramatic growth of Land Voice by 13,000 subscribers in less than two years.
- He was the founder and innovator of the first nationwide real-estate expired-listing service, Real Estate Data X-Change, Inc. (The RedX).
- He is the owner and founder of FSBO Leader, LLC, North America's most comprehensive "For Sale By Owner" (FSBO) lead service in the industry.
Fackrell has been working within the online real-estate lead-generation industry for the past six years and brings this experience to bear in eHarbor's Real Estate Promoter division. He has had the opportunity to work closely with top industry coaches and trainers, such as Mike Ferry, Floyd Wickman, Tom Ferry, Mark Leader, Verl Workman, and others.

- Dear Keith,
Thank you for your comment. I just visited your site and found some interesting information there. Inbound links are important to search engines, but it's also important to focus on optimizing your own Web page so that others will want to link to your site.
You're right that people can go to some sites to quickly start doing SEO through keywords. But I've found that search engine optimization is much more complex than just buying keywords. I'd at least like to have someone knowledgeable about SEO practices, like someone with Submit Solution, help me in my efforts.
I appreciate you taking the time to share your ideas. Have a great day.
