    As a fellow substitute teacher, I enjoyed reading your lens. I am very lucky to sub for teachers who leave good lesson plans most of the time. However, I have a "bag of tricks" like you for those days where there is too much free time between assigned lesson plans or the lesson plans are poorly executed. I've been subbing for several years, but like to seek out and exchange new ideas.
    In an effort to network with other subs, I started a blog devoted to this subject. http://supersubteacher.blogspot.com
