The Root Cause of Success Revealed by Steve Chandler and Seth Godin!

There are major shifts in business, at work and in relationships happening right now. Focusing on "what you can get" from others is just not working anymore - even if you do get what you think you want, you still end up feeling empty.
This Squidoo page is not just for businesses, it's for anyone who wants to get real and create a life they love - and that requires new innovative thinking skills...a "Mind-Shift" from being a "Gimmie Monster" to becoming someone who compassionately "gives value."
What is a "Gimme Monster?" Well, every time I walk into Walmart with Joshua, my 7-year-old son, I swear there is an invisible "Gimmie Monster" lurking behind the greeter that jumps out and bites Joshua and instantly transforms him into "But I want it now Daddy" Veruca from Willy Wonka. He was perfectly happy and content and then it's "Gimme this - gimmie that" which of course motivates me to leave him home next time.
The new reality is based on truths like "serve and ye shall receive" and as Steve Chandler says "You get paid for the difference that you make." It really is all about adding value to others - not what you can get from others...personally and professionally.
When someone visits your website (or meets you in person) they ask 3 things...
1. Who are you?
2. What do you do?
3. Why should I care?
Are people greeted on the home page of your website with "Buy now?" Why should people buy anything from you? Answer: because you help solve their problems and they trust you. Are you asking people to "gimme" money without first earning their trust and clearly showing them how you can add value to their life?
