How you live your life is determined by your concepts. But most of the beliefs you have about yourself and the world are not your own, in fact they are social expectations which you feel obliged to follow, or do so unconsciously.

You attempt to adhere to these concepts because it seems that doing so should bring happiness. But these internalised beliefs never align with your own dreams, hopes and ambitions for your life. The result is confusion, depression and lack of achievement.

This book describes the historical development of thought. It provides an explanation of the social causes of depression, self-doubt and the inability to succeed.

This enables the reader to distinguish their own thoughts from the influences of society; to determine their own ambitions and dreams and become motivated to pursue them.

The conceptual tools establish a foundation of social awareness and self-knowledge which leads to self-determination; real happiness and success.

The underlying premise is that if your life is to improve and you are to be successful, you must start by analysing your own mind.

It is an inspiring and motivational read which presents an empowering way of thinking - you create your own reality - when your thoughts and intentions are consistent you can live an incredibly exciting, happy and fulfilled life.  click here to go to wildhope.info

Your Search for Happiness

Positive or Negative?

Sub-consciously you are in search of happiness. The question are you searching positively or negatively?

One way will lead to fulfillment, health and fitness and success, the other is a downward spiral of indulgence and escapism...

The positive search for happiness can be defined as the continual and dedicated pursuit of your dreams and ambitions.

Once you have determined your talents and you seek to achieve your goals, you exist in a state of happiness BECAUSE you have decided the life you wish to live and you are endeavouring to create it.

But if you live with a sense of obligation to go to work to earn money to survive, you experience a permanent sense of despondency and lack of control. This is the life many people lead BUT there is no need for that.

If any aspect of your life seems inevitable it will undermine your ability to remain happy and pursue your goals.

Have you considered where your beliefs came from and whether or not they benefit you?

Stop and take the time.

Your beliefs determine whether your thoughts are predominantly positive or negative. They also determine how you judge the world and interpret your experiences. But your beliefs are merely thoughts which you have accepted to be correct and sub-consciously assume to be beneficial.

Your life expectations and any beliefs about your abilities are probably not your own thoughts and they are probably self-depricating. You would have internalized them during your childhood where you learned them from your parents, your school and your society.

Most of what you have been taught would be to ensure you adhere to social expectations. It is likely that much of it was disempowering and you now feel unable to pursue your true ambitions.

If you analyse your concepts, consider where they came from and whether or not they benefit you, you will be able to reshape the foundation of your thoughts.

To live happily requires that you have a positive belief in your self and an outlook on life based on concepts which benefit you.

If your thoughts are based on negative concepts you will be searching for an escape from them.

The negative search for happiness is the need to escape. It often becomes a dependency and frequently becomes an addiction to alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, food and sometimes to unhealthy relationships.

This can become a negative spiral, or a habitual way of thinking.

"Your mind is the key to all things."

Quotes

"You will not achieve anything until you have determined exactly what your goals are."

"If you hold a vision in your mind of how you want your life to be and make only the choices which will create it, then this is the reality you will experience."

But...

"If you believe in luck, prepare to fail."

However...

"Success occurs after a succession of failures. Try more! Fail more! Succeed more!"

"If you don't try anything, of course you won't fail, but neither will you achieve anything considerable either."

Always remember...

"Other people's opinions and criticism are irrelevant. However your self-criticism is very important."

And...

"The quality of advice that anybody offers can be judged against the life they actually lead."

And finally if ever you are despondent recall...

"Instead of one fixed reality, infinite realities exist simultaneously with limitless possibilities where the only limitation is your mind!"

You can do as you wish. What you do with your life is your choice but your intentions do have to be compatible. You dont have to put up with a dead end job and you can leave any time you want. Find something you love doing and it ceases to be 'work'.
