Dr. Bob Clarke reviews the premiere issue of the "New" Success Magazine

With its well written feature articles, success stories of prominant business, health, relationship, and wealth building experts, and the inclusion of a CD/DVD with every issue, Success Magazine should receive a prominant place in your personal development library.

The ReLaunch of Success Magazine

Publisher Darren Hardy hits a "home run" with the relaunch of an old favorite

Last month, Darren Hardy launched the premiere issue of Success magazine. But Success magazine is hardly new. The original Success magazine was founded by Orison Swett Marden in the 1890's as a vehicle to teach positive thinking, life skills, and discipline. In fact, previous stewards of Success reads like a Who's Who in the Personal Development field: Napoleon Hill, W. Clement Stone, and Og Mandino. Darren Hardy, with the first issue of the latest launch of Success, continues the excellence of this fine publication.

7 Reasons Why I Loved the Premiere Issue of Success Magazine

  1. The feature article, "What's Your Financial IQ?" by Robert and Kim Kiyosaki of Rich Dad, Poor Dad fame, focuses on the point that what you DON'T know about money CAN hurt you. Kim also does a short Q & A session on how men and women differ when it comes to money matters. Very enlightening!
  2. Real Life Success Stories: From CEO Howard Schultz of Starbucks to a young, relatively unknown entrepreneur named Kathryn Kerrigan, Success give you the stories behind the successes. Even more important than what they accomplished is how they got to be a success and what they do on a daily basis to keep moving forward.
  3. Innovative stories that match today's changing world of marketing and entrepreneurship. An article by Sandra Bienkowski entitled, "How YouTube and Facebook Create Opportunities" is right in line with giving the readership new and innovative ways to market their products and opportunites.
  4. Articles Focussing on the Basics of Personal Development. Mr. Jim Rohn's piece on building your personal philosophy as a key to your success is focussed and riviting... typical Jim Rohn.
  5. Success helps you build your personal library. Erin Casey lists the 25 Must-Read Books for Achievers. Just to give you a sneak preview, the top 5 include such authors as Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, Suze Orman, George S. Clason, and Stephen R. Covey. Top notch stuff!
  6. Well written and timely articles in the areas of business, relationships, wealth, well-being and giving back are included in each issue.
  7. BONUS FEATURE: Each issue of Success magazine will include a free CD/DVD to provide the reader with even more relevant stories of success. On the first disc, the CD side contained sessions by Earl Nightengale, Napoleon Hill and Orison Swett Marden, and a terrific one-on-one interview with Jim Rohn. Flip it over and you've got terrific DVD presentations by Mandino, Connie Podesta, and the Kiyosakis. The content on this dual disc alone is worth more than the cost of the magazine, in my humble opinion.

Even More Content on Success.com

There is a tremendous wealth of information at Success.com, should you want even more.

Once I started reading the first issue of Success, I couldn't put it down. And then I found myself wanting more! No problem. I went online to Success.com, where I found more articles, more stories, and more ways to improve myself than I could need. And everything is archived, so I can keep reading whenever I feel the urge, or the need.

Give Success Magazine a Prominant Place in your Library

Author's Addendum

The 2nd Issue is as Good as the First

After first writing this review, I then received my 2nd issue of Success. The lead article, the 50 Top Entrepreneurs was riviting. I'm not finished going through the entire issue yet, but so far the content is on the same par as the first issue: excellence in writing, timeliness, and worthiness to the subscriber.
