Blogging Brings More Prospects To Your Sites

Blogging can be a public outlet for teenaged angst, a free way to keep an online diary, an inexpensive way to promote your band, or a profit-making vehicle for advertising your business.

You can blog about whatever interests you, and you can attract an audience of a few dozen or millions, depending upon what you write about, the popularity of your subjects, the skill with which you write, and your promotional efforts to make it easier for others to find and read your blog.

This lens was created to help you find success with your blogging and the list of resources will continue to grow.

I would appreciate it if you would rank this lens by clicking a star above (1 = worst, 5 = best).

Blogging is a huge waste of effort

Over-hyped, under-delivers

So, do you think blogging is a huge waste of time and effort or is it an effective way to bring new prospects to your sites and reconnect with old prospects and your customers and friends?

Is blogging a huge waste of time?

Absolutely! It is about as effective as watching TV.

Not a chance! If you do it right, blogging is a great addition to your business.

I have several blogs and they bring hundreds of visitors and regular sales every day.

My blogs are working for me day and night, every day of the year, and have been one of the most important tools in my marketing arsenal.

I've had a weekly blog for several weeks, it's part of my main lens, but I haven't branched out with it yet

Great topic. Seriously, I should start a blogging lens of my own someday. I've been blogging since 2001 - it is a way of life and I've made lots of money at it.

I love blogging. I've experimented with many blogs and now I'm narrowing my focus and deleting most of them.
I hope you will feel free to add to the list of blogging tools and resources and link to your blog in the appropriate lists.
