Girls LOVE Making MuD PiE!
Here's my Recipe
2 sm. pkgs. instant chocolate pudding4 cups milk
1 sm. tub cool whip
1 tbsp. butter, room temperate
8 oz. cream cheese
Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
Add pudding mixes and milk;
beat for about 3 minutes.
It will not be completely smooth;
cream cheese will be slightly lumpy.
Mix in cool whip.
1 pkg. Oreo cookies, finely crushed
(do not remove the frosting before crushing)
or
1 box Oreo cookie crumbs, highly recommend!
(can be found at some stores in the baking section, next to graham cracker crumbs)
Serve in a new and washed plastic* flower pot.
Starting with pudding mixture,
alternate layers of pudding and cookie crumbs.
Be sure to reserve enough cookie crumbs to cover top completely.
Refrigerate for several hours.
Garnish with clean silk flower stems, gummy worms or candy rocks.
Serve with a gardening shovel.
*Tip: A new terra cotta flower pot may be used if it has been washed and cured in a low temperature oven (250*) for several hours (3-4).

I just love True Colours by Cyndi Lauper but I have never really connected the lyrics with my three girls - I will from now on!
