Waves/Curls - Since its summer, instead of blow-drying your hair out why don't you try braiding your hair when it's wet. Or just letting it air dry. By braiding your hair when it's wet you can achieve super cute curls or waves in your hair that people can rave about all summer long. If you're African American you can also twist your hair when it's wet for the same affect. For a cute summer wavy up do, take a section of hair from your hairline to you crown, smooth the front part down, and tease the pony. After teasing put an elastic band to secure your hair. Then pin your hair with a 1/8 section to wrap around the pony tail to give your hair an extra edgy feel.

Color/Highlights- summer is a great time to try new and exciting hair colors. My best advice is to go to a professional, but if you're feeling you can do it yourself by all means go ahead.
