Enjoy your summer!

Summer is one of the four temperate seasons, marked by the warmest time of year with the longest days. The seasons are popularly considered to start on different dates in different cultures.

Have a Great Summer!

Have a Perfect Summer Day

Step 1
So when you think summer, what do you picture? Is it the beach, campfire, new adventures or summer flings with hot guys? Well whatever you are picturing I am here to help you accomplish it. So I think one common goal among women for the summer is to look great so we can feel great. Great bodies don't come over night ladies, so let's get going. Join a gym and become dedicated to something you love! I have heard all the excuses of being too tired, busy or not enough money but let me just say this. Excercise promotes energy and you will notice within a few short weeks. If you are really that busy in life that you can't spare 30mins a day to your self then we have an issue! In the morning wake up to twenty crunches or if you stand at work try twenty sqauts. THERE IS ALWAYS TIME! If you are concerned about money I would recommend running out side, walking your stairs at home and using cans of food as free wieghts. Be Creative. Eat healthier everyday because the more green you eat the better your body feels. A few tips would be to portion your food in 3 meals a day. The earlier you eat breakfast the faster your motabolism starts to burn calories. Don't eat past 7 pm because you are going to bed probably within the next few hours and as you sleep you body burns less calories, therefore they stay attached to our butts until our next run. Sign up for a volleyball team or tennis team before summer so when it comes you feel fully in the swing of things.

Step 2
So, now you are well on your way to a smoking hott body that is worthy of any hot beach. So from September to April we have plenty of time to think of things to do and what to wear. This is the time where you want to slowly buy those items of summer clothes that were marked up in the summer months. You can find them on discount shelves, tanning salons, beauty boutiques or the web. This is how we save money and still look great in the summer. Five things every girl needs for a great summer are your favorite fruity lip gloss, sandals, bright nail polish, bathing suit and a great mix cd that just makes you all bubbly inside. So watch for the deals and get those creative wheels in motion.

Step 3
So here we are in May and it's starting to get hot outside. Time to turn on that cd, start showing off your new killer legs, brush on some lip gloss and cruise to your local hott spot. This might be nerve wrecking at first but we want to ensure that we meet new people so that we can share in their experiences and maybe make some new friends. I find that as you meet new people you can also share in their activities. So get out there and be courages, introduce your self to a wild looking bunch and see where it takes you.

Step 4
Spontaneity is going to come in key at this next part as you need to discover your wild side. It's easy to avoid new social gatherings or random trips to the beach but the next time someone asks you to go just say yes! You want to hit the beach at least twice this summer and maybe catch a base tan and the eye of that cutie walking by. Campfires are a must during the summer nights because its a chance to witness something truly majestic. You and your friends under a full moon eating marshmellows, a glass of wine or playing guitar. If you can't afford to travel take a moment online and discover what your community has to offer and explore! If you do have the funds pre arrange a vacation with all your friends where you can lounge, chat, drink, be merry and enjoy each others company. All I have to say is that we only live once and when I'm old I want to look back and feel I conquered it all the way I wanted to. Good Luck and have fun!

Plan the Perfect Summer Vacation

Step 1
Assuming you're not flying solo, look into locales that offer something for everyone. An all-inclusive resort or cruise ship can provide an array of activities for just about everyone, but those kinds of vacations aren't necessarily for everyone.

Step 2
Get your priorities straight in order to get the most bang for your buck. Cutting back on expensive meals out, for example, will free up more money to spend on nice accommodations. Decide which are the most important aspects of your vacation.

Step 3
Transportationwise, make sure your vehicle is in tip-top shape before departing if you're taking a road trip. Check the essentials like oil, coolant and tires. As for air travelers, make sure all your ducks are in a row-such as your ground transportation upon arrival. Waiting for a cab at the airport behind 20 other weary travelers after a long plane flight will not get your trip off to the best start.

Step 4
When it comes to traveling companions beyond your immediate family, make sure you're truly compatible with any prospective travelmates before hitting the road-and spell out any details in advance related to traveling expenses, sharing the driving responsibilities, and so on. En route to your destination in 90-degree heat, while stuck in traffic, is not the time to try and figure out who pays for what!

Step 5
Do some homework that goes beyond simply checking the property's website when reserving a lodging. Check some consumer bulletin board sites (like Yelp) to see what other visitors have said, and make sure to ask the right questions when calling to book a room: Is the swimming pool functioning? Do you have air conditioning?

Step 6
Arrange a special activity on one of the last days of your vacation, giving you something to anticipate with excitement and providing you with special memories to savor on the trip home. Depending on your locale, consider whitewater rafting, a sunset dinner cruise or perhaps a spectacular live performance.

Step 7
Check the climates of the locations you're considering, and bring the proper clothing and materials. Items like sunblock, sandals and mosquito repellent are best purchased ahead of time-to avoid the stress of hunting them down, but also to avoid the jacked-up cost of shopping at a hotel or airport gift shop.

Step 8
Along similar lines, make sure there are easy and accessible ways to beat the heat at your destination, whether it's beaches, swimming pools or just the good old hotel pool. For families with young children, a water park can be yet another cool and entertaining option.

Step 9
Check out the Convention and Visitors Bureau website for events, lodging deals, what's new and much more at the destination(s) you're considering, and speak with a representative for some advice too. These groups know you won't be returning unless you have an awesome visit to their city, so they have a vested interest in making sure you have a great time.

Step 10
Consider "disconnecting" from your computer, PDA and cell phone as much as possible during your vacation. You're not truly relaxing at a park or beach if you have a laptop out and a cell phone to your ear; the world will be there when you get back, don't worry!
