Fire Up the Grill - It's Summertime!
Yaay! Finally! Summer is here! Have you been thinking about the warm days of summer during the cold days of winter and wishing the summertime season would get here? I have!
After enduring a long cold winter, summer has finally arrived. We went from 40 degrees one day to 90 degrees the next. The warm weather and sunny days are such a relief from our long winter days. It is wonderful to be able to sit out on the patio and enjoy the summer breeze and listen to the birds fluttering about to build their nests. A great way to start your summer is by firing up the grill and having a cookout. There are so many wonderful recipes and unique invitations to enhance your party as shown below.

Steaks for the Grill
Listed below are several types of meats to cook on the grill and invitation suggestions if you need them.

FILET - This cut of meat is the most tender and the most expensive and very delicious. My personal favorite.
RIBEYE - The next tender cut of meat is the ribeye. It tends to have a 'marbled' appearance created by the lines of fat running throughout the steak. The fat will help keep this steak juicy and will be filled with flavor when cooked properly.
STRIP STEAK - This cut of meat has a strong 'steak' flavor. It is also referred to as New York strip.
SIRLOIN - This sirloin is often marked as Top Sirloin and is a great steak for someone who is on a budget. This cut of steak is normally cheaper than the ones listed above, and it is also not as high of quality as the others.
GROUND BEEF - Let's not forget ground beef for making hamburgers on the grill. 85% ground beef is recommended for grilling hamburgers. It has a little more fat in them, which helps make the burgers more juicy when they are cooked.
Hope this list was helpful for you when choosing your meats for the grill. :)
