From a former competitive runner: I used these for training to reduce eye strain and protect my eyes from foreign objects like bugs, pebbles, dust, etc.. - That's all great, but for those of us who are not big spenders, cheaper $10 frames work just as well as $300 frames. Yes, the truth hurts, but if you're not big into style, consider getting cheaper frames. They really do the same job.
