Sun Tzu Was a Famous Military Strategist From the Spring & Autumn Period of Chinese History
The ancient military genius, Sun Tzu, wrote "The Art of War" - the first and most definitive treatise on warfare in the history of man. His military strategies are famous in China and Japan for lessons applicable to modern culture and politics, as well as for military strategy. It is disputed whether he lived during the Spring and Autumn Period, or the Warring States Period. Traditional sources say, however, that he lived in the former period, and was a leading general for the king of Wu, King Helü.
