The machine works very well! It is easy to use and the bread comes out great. After reading the reviews, I did not even attempt the recipes in the manual. I bought both recommended books (Better Homes and Gardens, and Betty Crocker). Recipes are similar between the two, so I do not recommend buying both. Also, some of the books recommend adding any fruit into the second kneading cycle.

The 5891 is a fully featured bread machine. It can cook multiple sizes of loafs. It has a crust setting whether you like light, medium, or dark crust. It can just prepare the dough for your own cooking. You can start cakes or other bakery items in it and finish them off in the oven.

GREAT MACHINE. LARGE CAPACITY. VERY EASY TO USE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS MACHINE. I USE IT MAKE GLUTEN FREE BREAD FROM STORE PACKAGES AND THEY TURN OUT FANTASTIC.
