Super Bowl Showdown - The Bears & Colts Are In!!!!!!
Super Bowl 41 will be played at the Dolphins Stadium in South Florida on February 4, 2007. Since most of us will not be in attendance, you can still throw an awesome Super bowl party at home.
Though many of you may be rooting for the Colts, the Bears are going to take this one by a final score of Bears 38 Colt 12!!!
Tips for a Superbowl Party
If you are planning on hosting a Super Bowl party here are a few things you should consider:1. Be responsible. If you are serving drinks rent a mini bus and designate a driver to pick up and drive party participants home.
2. Your theme should be around your favorite Super Bowl Team. Choose colors and party favors to compliment the theme.
3. Beverages should include beer, wine, soda. Place the cooler within viewing distance of the television. You don't want to miss anything!
4. Set up your food items near the game viewing area also. Food should consist of chips, dips, vegetable, cheese and fruit tray, hot wings, bleu cheese dressing, pizza and fried chicken. If you have an AP Deli in your area opt for corned beef sandwiches or 2 footlong submarines with the works.
5. Before the game begins have all party participants write down the team they think will win and also the score. The person who comes closest to the actual score and chooses the correct team wins a prize. Consider purchasing football themed prizes.

Recipe: Hot Wings With Bleu Cheese Dressing
Buffalo Chicken Wings
20 to 25 chicken wings
Vegetable oil for deep-frying
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
Hot sauce
Bleu Cheese Dressing (below)
Celery sticks
Disjoint the chicken wings and discard the tips. Rinse and pat dry. The wings must be completely dry to fry properly since there is no batter or breading.
Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or a large deep pan to 365 degrees.
Add the chicken wings a few at a time to the hot oil. Do not allow the oil to cool as the chicken is added. Deep-fry for 6 to 10 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
Drain well by shaking in the fryer basket or a strainer.
Blend the butter with ½ bottle of hot sauce for medium-hot wings. Add additional hot sauce for hotter wings or additional butter for milder wings.
Combine the wings and the hot sauce in a large container. Let stand, covered.
Serve the chicken wings with Bleu Cheese Dressing and celery sticks.
