Dean Winchester

Dean Winchester was born on January 24, 1979. He is 6'1" tall and 27 years old. He usually wears worn jeans(with holes or tattered), a button-up shirt (unbuttoned, so the shirt underneath is exposed), and a dark brown leather jacket. He has a thick silver washer ring on his right ring finger, along with an elephant (hair) bracelet on his right wrist. He also wears a long leather band necklace with a silverish gold pendant attached (an Egyptian protection charm supposedly). He loves his car, a black four-door 1967 Chevy Impala. He is a fan of classic rock music, including Motörhead, AC/DC, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult, and Kansas.He is best described as a womanizer, a protective older brother, talented hunter, expert in the supernatural and a smartass. He is very cocky and has a big ego. He uses sarcasm, music and hunting to cover the tragic memories of his mother's supernatural death.

Sam is about to graduate from college and has an interview set up to join one of the most prestigious law schools in the country. His brother Dean, whom he has not seen since he went to college, shows up in the middle of the night and tells him their father is missing while on a hunting trip. Leaving his girlfriend behind to find their dad, Sam joins Dean in an effort to find their father in a little town called Jericho, where unmarried men disappear without a trace. - Wendigo
Sam and Dean pose as Park Rangers to help a brother and sister search for their lost sibling, who the Winchester brothers believe may have been taken by a Wendigo. - Dead in the Water
While going through the newspaper, Dean comes across a mysterious drowning victim. Upon further research they soon discover more people who have drowned in the same lake, but their bodies were never found. When the boys show up in town they befriend a boy whose father has drowned. The brothers come to believe the lake is haunted by a spirit. - Phantom Traveler
A friend of Dean's calls him up when a plane crashes under mysterious circumstances. Dean and Sam soon discover a flight attendant who was on the plane but they do not realize her full connection to the crash until they are on board another flight with her. - Bloody Mary
A man dies of a stroke in front of a mirror but Sam and Dean believe something, or someone, else (Bloody Mary) may be behind his death. Dean tries to help Sam open up about his girlfriend's death, particularly after Sam let's it slip that there's some information that he hasn't told Dean. - Skin
Sam's friend, Zach, is accused of murder. Sam offers to help out by checking up on his sister, Rebecca. Rebecca claims her brother could not have committed the murder because he was with her at the time of the murder. But all the physical evidence points to Zach being at the scene of the crime. Could Zach have been at two places at the same time? - Hookman
Sam and Dean help a girl whose date became a victim of the "Hook Man," a famous urban legend that turns out to be real, in a small college town somewhere in Iowa. In order to save her and her father, the local minister, the brothers have to find the ghost's bones so they can destroy them. One tiny problem... they're in an unmarked grave.

Sam Winchester was born on 2nd May 1983. When he was only six months old (2nd November 1983), his mother Mary Winchester was killed in his nursery, and he had to be carried out by his older brother Dean Winchester (28 year old Jensen Ackles) while their father John Winchester went back to attempt to rescue Mary.22 years later (to the day), the same demon kills Sam's girlfriend Jessica Moore, which spurs Sam's motivation to find the creature and destroy it. While Sam and Dean both are searching for their father, John Winchester who is currently missing (but occasionally contacts the boys to leave new missions to complete), the boys fend off mystical creatures such as Woman In White, the Wendigo, the mystical Bloody Mary, and Shapeshifters.
The season finale concluded with Sam, Dean, and their father John escaping from a clash with "the Demon" in Salvation, Iowa. While Sam was driving away in the Impala to a hospital after Dean and John got hurt, a semi truck came sideswiped them, causing mass damage to the Impala and the Winchesters inside.

They discover that a new family has moved into the Winchester's home, and the woman is the one that Sam has been dreaming about. When Dean is accidentally electrocuted fighting a monster, he permanently damages his heart. - Early on in the series, Dean's cell number is given, and for a while the studio had it set up so that anyone dialing the number would hear Jensen Ackles reading the message: "This is Dean Winchester. If this is an emergency, leave a message. If you are calling about 11-2-83, page me with your coordinates." The number is 1-866-907-3235.
- The car Sam and Dean drive is a 1967 Chevrolet Impala, which has been nicknamed the Metallicar by fans of the show. The show uses five black Impalas.
- The only known sources of income for the Winchesters are credit card scams and playing pool.
- The episode "Hook Man" is set in Iowa. Yet in an overhead view as they pull into town, you see palm trees.
- Both the Winchester's vehicles have Kansas plates on the front. The state of Kansas does not issue front license plates. Also, the county stickers are not pink.
