• In My Time of Dying Airs:9/28/06
  A shaken John vows to help his oldest son at any cost. While Sam frets at his comatose brother's bedside, Dean's consciousness wanders the hospital with Tessa, a woman apparently in the same situation. But her frustration grows as he shakes off her subtle manipulations. Sam and John reach a truce, but the father knows more about his son's mysterious abilities than he lets on.
• Everybody Loves a Clown Airs:10/05/06
  Miles, a frequent assistant of Ellen and Alex, becomes a new ally for the Winchesters. Among his many talents is his technological genius and the ability to look into the future. Probably recurring.Ellen is shocked to hear John's whereabouts. Alex struggles to control her jealousy and resentment when the boys take over her first solo hunt, eventually establishing a gentle rivalry. Dean's adversity to "chick-flick moments" leads to a harsh lecture for Sam.
• Bloodlust Airs:10/12/06
  The Impala returns to duty. Dean and Sam hunt with Gordan, whose dangerous motivation is ultimately darker than theirs. Feeling out of the loop, Sam seeks Ellen's counsel. Dean continues to wrestle with grief. The boys meet a pack of vampires determined to survive by leaving humans alone; the Winchesters learn evil no longer exists in black and white. After he threatens Sam, Gordan learns an unforgettable lesson from Dean.
• Children Shouldnt Play With Dead Things Airs:10/19/06
  Guest Starring Serenity's Summer Glau
  Dean and Sam investigate the murder of a college student who has come back from the dead seeking revenge on those who mistreated her while she was alive. Upon confrontation, the ghost savagely attacks Sam, leaving him injured.
  
  While in town, the brothers visit their mother's grave to pass along something from their father.
• Simon Said Airs:10/26/06
  Sam's visions lead them to Andy, another 'chosen one'. Dean falls victim to Andy's powers, allowing Sam, who can't be affected, to hear his brother's buried fears. Realizing that, Sam asks his brother to let them go ahead while they rescue Tracy, the victim of Andy's previously unknown twin. Webber's abilities, with control far superior to both Sam and Andy, could spell doom for Dean.
• No Exit Airs:11/02/06
  Sam and Dean investigate the slayings of blonde women and find that the ghost of the first serial killer is responsible. Jo disobeys Ellen's wishes and follows them along, and is captured by the ghost.
• The Usual Suspects Airs:11/09/06

  Sam and Dean are interrupted during an investigation by the police and are arrested for the murders of the two victims in the house. Both play it cool during questioning, supporting each others stories even though they are in different rooms. The police are aggravated and angry. Dean decides to tell the Police the truth behind the spirit hunting investigation while Sam makes a seemingly impossible escape. He leaves a note that is signed "McQueen" (Steve McQueen fans will love the Great Escape homage)
• Crossroad Blues Airs: 11/16/06
  Decades before, blues guitarist Robert Johnson sells his soul to a beautiful female demon at Dirt Crossroads in exchange for being made the greatest blues guitarist in history. In present time, Sam and Dean meet George, a genius artist, who practices HOODOO (herbs, mojo bags, etc), who followed in Robert's footsteps with the demon. George tells them the demon stayed in town a week, making deals with many other people, including an architect, a doctor and others. Dean calls the demon, telling her he wants to make a deal and save a man named Evan Hudson in exchange for himself. He tries to trap the demon with a Devil's Trap, and she tells him that he blew it and says some awful things about where his father is, torturing him from the inside out.
• Croatan Airs: 12/07/06
  Posing as U.S. Marshals, Sam and Dean go to a town called Rivergrove to find a man named Duane Tanner. After Sam has a vision of a scared Duane with a gun and a scar running down his hairline, they meet a man named Vargo who points them to Duane. Sam and Dean find the Tanners: Mrs Tanner beaten up and bloody and her husband dead from a gunshot wound. She tells them her husband and son did this to her, like they had the Devil in them. Sam and Dean worry about mass possession when they begin to come across more and more people like the Tanners and about the possibility of the demons trying to wipe out the entire town, from the inside out. A doctor finds some strange things, such as sulfur residue, in Mr Tanner's blood then Sam gets cut and possibly infected, leaving the group wondering what they should do.
• Hunted Airs: 01/11/07
  We meet Ava Wilson, a young woman who has a dream about Sam Winchester being blown to bits from an explosion. Ava tracks down Sam to warn him that he's in danger. Sam realizes they are connected and have the psychic visions in common. Sam tells her they are part of something bigger than she can imagine and she gets hysterical, telling him she can't be, that he's wrong and she's going to live a normal life. He insists he needs her help and she agrees to stay and help. Dean learns from Ellen where Sam is and goes to find and help him.
• Playthings Airs: 01/18/07
  Sam and Dean visit the Cornwall Inn, a creepy old mansion turned run-down, failing hotel. They meet the owner, Susan, and her daughter Tyler, who are packing to move after they sell the hotel. Tyler is playing with a little girl named Margaret. The brothers notice strange items around the hotel, including an urn with a familiar pattern, dolls with their heads backwards and Susan's mother, who looks vacant and beyond terrified. When Susan finds them in her mother's room trying to talk to her, she throws them out and threatens to call the cops.
• Nightshifter Airs: 01/25/2007
  The brothers are hunted by FBI Special Agent Henriksen, a new recurring character, convinced they're responsible for multiple, heinous murders and determined to capture them at any cost. Meanwhile, a witness believes one crime was committed by a half-man, half-robot.

• Houses of the Holy Air Date: 02/01/07
  The Winchesters investigate a spate of murders committed by people who were apparently visited by an angel and told to carry out "God's will" and kill those who have sinned. For Sam it's easy to believe it to be the case. Not so for easy Dean, who believes they're dealing the confused and angry spirit of Father Gregory, a man murdered on the steps of his church in an attempted robbery. While checking up on a lead Sam is visited by the angel and told to kill someone.
• Born Under a Bad Sign Air Date: 02/08/07
  After Sam goes missing for over a week, Dean finally receives a phone call from his brother. Dean finds Sam in a hotel room, covered in blood and suffering from the effects of a week long memory blackout. Upon investigation, the brothers find a video-tape of Sam killing another hunter in cold blood, which leads Sam to believe his dark side is taking over. When the dark side finally emerges Sam attacks Dean and continues on his hunter killing spree with his next targets being family friends Jo Harvelle and Bobby Singer.
• Tall Tales Air Date: 02/15/07
  Sam, Dean, and Bobby(guest star Jim Beaver)encounter what appears to be a dancing alien, a chainsaw killer, alligators in the sewers, and other oddities straight out of the tabloids while probing strange occurrences on a college campus. They discover all are actually the work of one college janitor, a Trickster who has the ability to conjure into reality anything he wants. Not helping matters is the brothers' slowly escalating feud which Bobby suspects is also the work of the Trickster.
• Roadkill Air Date: 03/15/07
  Molly(guest Tricia Helfer)and her husband are driving along a long deserted highway at night when they come upon a farmer. The next thing Molly knows both the husband and the farmer have disappeared. Things get worse when the Winchesters inform Molly that the farmer is actually a highway ghost who appears annually to claim a new victim, who happens to be Molly this time.
• Heart Air Date: 03/22/07
  Sam and Dean come across werewolf activity when they investigate the death of lawyer who was believed to have been killed by a wild animal. While Dean tracks the werewolf on the outside, Sam offers to protect Madison(guest star Emmanuelle Vaugier)who is likely to be the werewolf's next target.
• Hollywood Babylon Air Date: 04/19/07
  The Winchesters go undercover as PAs on a haunted movie set after getting wind of reports of tag teaming ghosts. The brothers deal with an asinine studio executive out to make cheap marketing stunts(guest star Gary Cole), a disenfranchised screenwriter seeking revenge for unnecessary revisions to a formally great script, and Dean's fan-boyish feelings for the leading lady.
• Folsom Prison Blues Air Date: 04/26/07
  The Brothers Winchester get busted on breaking and entering charges during a routine evidence gathering trip and sent to a haunted prison while awaiting extradition. Dean and Agent Henriksen come face-to-face for the first time. Sam and Dean earn a new ally in the form of Mara, their public defender who starts to probe the inconsistencies between the charges placed on the brothers and what the witnesses say they saw.
• What Is and What Should Never Be Air Date: 05/03/07
  Dean gets attacked by a Djinn, a creature capable of warping reality. The next things he knows he's in Lawrence, Kansas, in a stable relationship with a woman named Carmen, his mother is alive and well, and he and Sam are no longer on speaking terms. When the idea of a peaceful existence begins to settle in, visions of his previous life as a hunter start appearing out of nowhere.
• All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 1 Air Date: 05/10/07
  The Yellow Eyed Demon transports Sam, Andy, and Ava along with other "Special Children" Jake and Lily to the remains of a ghost town to initiate the first steps of his war against mankind. Dean contacts Bobby Singer, Ash, and Ellen for help in locating his brother.
• All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 2 Air Date: 05/17/07
  Dean hits an emotional rock bottom after a devastating personal loss. The Yellow Eyed Demon begins a calculated strategic move to unleash the armies of hell.

Supernatural Trivia 

• While filming season two, Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), broke his arm after performing one of the stunts on the show.
• Many of the episodes are based on existing legends, myths, and ghost stories. (For example the episode "Crossroads" is based in part on the legend of Robert Johnson - who in turn borrowed it from another Blues singer.)
• Most season two episodes are either named after movies ("Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things", "The Usual Suspects") or classic rock songs ("In My Time of Dying", "Born Under a Bad Sign", "What is and What Should Never Be").
• Ogdenville, North Haverbrook, and Brockway are names of cities that Dean mentions in an episode in season one. These are made up cities where Lyle Lanley from The Simpson's universe made monorails in the episode "Marge v. the Monorail"
• The round blue/skull sticker on the top of Sam's season one laptop is from a prominent local North Vancouver mountain bike company, Deep Cove Bike Shop.

OH MY WORD Supernatural is so freaking AWESOME!!!!!!! I first saw jensen ackles in smallville season 4 were he plays jason teag and TOTALY LOVED HIM!!!!!!!!! Then I heard on a commentary that he was doing a new show so I TOTALY had to check it out and O M W it completely ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! Jensesn Ackles is so HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
