While the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have created an estimated over 1.5 million new war veterans, this poll is for ANYONE who is related, in anyway, to a serviceman or woman. By virtue of relation, in many ways, that oftentimes propels you into a great position of support for these brave men and women.
Like other polls, this one will be dynamic, as well. While we have provided some basic answers, the inclusion of NEW answers will be based significantly on feedback we receive from YOU.

Where do YOU go for support?
Deployments are never easy. The vast divide that separates loved ones, from those who serve, is enormous, and oftentimes, takes a clear toll on those back home. For this reason, it has become quite clear to us that the Internet has become an incredible resource that supporters can utilize in order to find support, while their loved ones are away, bravely serving their country.
Through this list, you are welcome to ADD a forum/message board that you believe could be a great resource to military personnel, and their supporters, irregardless of how "known" or "unknown" it is.

We met this particular author through frequent email exchanges on our MySpace site, and her "debut novel, 'Homefront', takes us into the life of twenty-six year old Mia, who faces a battle against anxiety, loneliness and despair when her boyfriend is deployed to Iraq". (Editorial Review, Bookpleasures.com, April 24, 2007)
Her work is an inspiration, and we highly-recommend it.

It has helped link wives to husbands, girlfriends to boyfriends, mothers to sons/ daughters, and everyday American Citizens to the brave men and women who continue to fight daily for our Freedom.
