Is wireless surround sound the next big thing? Many manufacturers offer wireless acoustic systems recently. Nowadays most of wireless surround sound systems are produced in advanced configuration 6.1 and 7.1 to make use of this technology.

Many companies provide for average consumers which are looking something to improve their home theater systems with new innovative products with Bluetooth integration and digital amplification systems. The gained advantages are obvious because there is no line level signal wires to run and a great freedom of placement throughout the home or listening room.

Pricing for the outputs is strikingly not expensive since the technology is proven and labour costs are rather inexpensive.

You must admit that cables are not the best decoration for a room. So answer the question now whether you are willing to run speaker cables through the walls or around the room from your surround speakers? If not, you might want to consider one of the new wireless speaker systems. But be careful because usually you still have to plug a "wireless" speaker into an electrical outlet.

And in conclusion: you don't have to be a hardcore audiophile or to pay a fortune to get a good wireless surround sound system. You just have to be a smart and prepared shopper.
