Several things we need to keep in mind as we are stock-piling food for the coming food shortage that many are predicting will happen are:
If we HAVE the finances to do so, the smartest way is to get the stuff that will last for years and years, like the "Mountain House foods"=for example.
It is freeze dried and processed to keep for as many years as we need to store it which makes it really nice for the times we are living in when we really do not know what we are actually preparing for...
We just know that it is VERY WISE to be prepared in the uncertain economic times we are living in!
Are we planning a getaway with all our survival stuff? Or are planning to stick it out at home, and have more of an Urban Survival plan in mind??
Both of these things will make a huge difference in helping us spend our money wisely as we build our survival foods list.
..And Don't Forget the Non-Food Items to Stockpile
There are many non food items that are essential in my opinion when it comes to survival!
