Getting Ready for Tribal Council Jury

Final Tribal Council and Jury Decides

Catch new season come fall!

Well it's over. Right to the point - it was between Amanda and Parvati. And Parvati wins.

Low-down on the Final episode, Jury Vote and Reunion shows...

This epidodes was the Record setter for:

Dumbest Moves
Most Accidents
Most Blind-sides

James hands his "dumbest move" crown over to Erik.

As Parvati was named "Sole Survivor" by the jury...James was named Favorite Player by viewer callings and hosted by Sprint and we was awarded $100,000.

In my opinion, this season had the most impressively fun jury - their eye-rolls, their shocked faces, head shakes and wide-eyed looks of unbelief...just so funny!

Ozzy and Amanda profess their mutual love for each other.

Next season - come fall, Survivor will be played in Gabon, Africa and is called "Earth's Last Eden".

So good bye until fall!

Check out the parts of Survivor you don't know about!

What Happens once at Ponderosa?

Here are a couple links to see video clips on what goes on once a survivor is voted off and becomes a member of the jury. Looks like a lot of fun!

"Dumbest Survivor Ever!"

Eric had it in for the final 4 and gave it away!

In the words of James..." Eric took his life vest off during a hurricane and gave it to someone that was in the boat. He is now officially the "dumbest Survivor Ever!".

Says it all! Not a single thing anyone can add - point blank period!

Eric worked so hard for Reward Challenge. He worked so hare for Immunity Challenge. I was, for only the second time in Survivor history, acutally cheering for a survivor! Go Eric!! Show them women you can survive their lieing and kniving! Those women have just been picking you men off one by one simple cause they can!"

Then he sits there at Tribal Council apologizing for I dont' know what and asking for forgiveness for I don't know what! He was accussed of telling each of the women a different story, yet, they each told him a different story....who should apologize to whom?

But to believe Natalie and willingly give her the Immunity Necklace when he was #5 of the final 5 - what in tarnation was he thinking? Hadn't he been paying attention during the last 3 tribal concils where blind-siding was slapped in everyone's face?

And trust! Good grief! Trust is not something that can be played or counted on in Survivor - as a viewer, even I see that!

But Cirie got her way again. Boy, she is stacking the deck isn't she? Now, women only, I wonder which one is going to see Cirie for what she is and vote her out? Well, guess there is only one tribal council left and then hopefully...the jury will vote for anyone, but Cirie! She didn't play the game. She contributed nothing to the tribes. All she did was float in on other coat tails and then incited hatred amongst the survivors and got others to do all the dirty work.

Season finale is on SUnday at 8pm. I am guessing there will be one more challenge and the final three will have a challenge and the winner will choose who goes with them to the final jury vote.

Blindsided - again! But the Hidden Idol was Finally Used!

Good going, Amanda!

Well, Cirie does it again...only this time it back-fires on her! She gets everyone to vote for Amanda, but Amanda got the Hidden Immunity Idol and played it! That meant Alexis got the most votes and was voted off. Good grief! Finally some excitment! Good going Amanda for searching until you found it and also for your statment at Tribal Council..."I didn't have it when you all asked me if I had it. I didn't have it then".

I just have to wonder why no one - even the women - are not voting Cirie off! Could it be that they are hoping that if they are up against her in the final 2, that the Jury would NOT vote for Cirie because they realize how she just played people, not the game and played each on of them against each other? We can only hope!

And sorry to see James have to leave for medical reasons. He played a good strong and reasonably honest game!

"Anyone Who Feels Safe Now....Is a Fool" says Jeff Probst

Why Don't They Use the Immunity Idol!!!!

Well, talk about a den of thieves! Boy, the girls are sure playing the boys this season! Jason was voted out...did he not learn that you can't trust the women after what they did to Ozzy last week? Blindside is the name of the new women's tribe! Jason trusted Natalie. But he also had the Immunity Idol and he didn't play that....again....didn't he learn anything from Ozzy's blindside sweep last week? One person "assures" him and he takes it to the bank. Well, like he admits, he shouldn't have trusted them and should have played the idol. But one can be assured.....if Natalie is in the final 2 - she will not get his vote!

It was interesting to see Parvaity try to smooth things over with James - thank goodness he didn't believe it! And she was just so sure her womanly wiles were kicking in! But "Good Going, Jeff!" when he caught Cirie trying to CHEAT!! Yes, CHEAT! She was buying a food auction item for $140 and handed him $120! Thank goodness he knows that "trust" is not something Survivors should hold close and he checked her money and she had only handed him $120! Of course she gave her little "oops" comment, but he made her pay up. I have to say that if Cirie wins the million dollars, she only wins it by total deception -and to me that is not what the game is all about. The fact that the other tribal members have just let it go and not made her own up- just shows their own stupidity, I guess. No ones sees her deceit...good grief a viewer sees it, but not the survivors. I just don't understand why no one has ever at least tried to vote her off. She sure gives Survivor a bad name. Good grief, did you catch that wicked, evil, kniving smile she presented at Tribal Council? Did you catch ALL the girls wicked, evil, kniving smiles as Jason was walking out! She isn't "surviving", she is cheating. ANd just riding in on coat tails. Period. Guess you know who I hope doesn't win! I hope the Jury feels the same way if she in in the final 2. Cheating shouldn't be rewarded, even in a game!

Moral of the series: Trust is only something you can use and rely on as Tribe vs. Tribe. Once it is down to trive member vs. tribe member - trust is not something you can count on. Wonder when they are going to see that?

Is Cirie the "Johnny Fairplay" of this season?

Ozzy is out! He just got to comfortable, he admits

Although none saw it coming, it happened. Ozzy was voted out this week. He had the Immunity Idol and didn't use it. How it happened was on the last Immunity Challenge, although a repeat use of a challenge where the survivors have their arm tethered to a bucket of water above their heads and have to stand there holding their arms up, of if they falter, the bucket of water spills on them and they are out of the game. First, I was shocked that Ozzy quit the challenge in the first place. Jeff would come out and offer a food item if they quit the challenge. Cirie of course the first to quit and did the second the candy came out. She is so very confident that she will not be voted off. Kind of makes me sick to think someone that has done so little has that much confidence, but then again, maybe it is the others that should feel stupid for not voting her off and getting rid of someone that is not an advantage to the team. But, they are voting, not me!

So then it is left to Jason and Pavarty, or however you spell that name! Jeff comes out with a TON of food items and says "to which of you want to quit now, you get this array of food to share with the rest of the tribe!" For some reason, they all encouraged Jason to quit and share, not Pavarty. I thought that was odd. So they all "guarentee" they will not vote him off if he quits and shares. Of course, always keeping eyes on Cirie for her kniving ideas, the cameras show her crossing her fingers behind her back while she is saying "I won't vote for you Jason". Then another player did the same thing and another! First, good grief, this isn't 1st grade. Cross your fingers so you have a "legal" reason to vote for him when you promised you wouldn't? Come on. But Jason believed them and he let go. Ozzy says it was the most stupidest thing in the history of Survivor that Jason took that program.....hold on, Ozzy!

So back at the camp - Cirie rears her kniving "Johnny Fairplay" head and talks everyone into voting for Ozzy and not Jason. And of course they all do - just as Cirie "Johnny Fairplay" tells them to do!

During Tribal Council, while Jeff Probst is asking the questions, things were strained. It was a erie time to say the least. Jason was sure he wasn't being voted off simply cause of the agreement all had promised him. However, those in Cirie's "tribe" voted for Ozzy, NOT because they promised Jason they wouldn't vote for him, but to get rid of the strength that binds them all while he isn't looking! Now poor Jason thinks he has alliances, when you know, next week, Cirie is going to have everyone vote him off and they will all follow her "instruction". Looks like we got a "Cirie Cult" going on here! My question...WHY? Ca't they think for themselves? She has nothing to offer anyone or the tribe in any way, so why are they all following what she says, knowing first hand that she is the first to stab the knife in the back of anyone! Don't any of them realize that their backs are fair game to her? I guess not!

So I guess we have to stay tuned...to the new "Cirie Cult Survivor" show! I know that out wit is part of the game, but to win based simply on how well you knive...I just don't think someone like that deserves to win the game. There is so much more to the game of Survivor than that, and Cirie isn't playing it!

And on Ozzy's behalf...wonder which of his Alliance friends jumped ship and crossed over??? That one won't have his vote if they get to final 2!

Phoney Immunity Idol..and grins and giggles on Survivor

Very fun episode this week! Very "dabu".....

I have to say I think last night's episode has been the best of the season. The merge, the skuttlebutt, the "phoney" Immunity Idol - and of course Ozzy's triumphant grin and giggle when it was presented and of course the first jury member is "chosen". So let the Games game begin!

Way to go, Eric when he suggested the name for the new merged tribe.."Dabu, which means "good" in Microneasia". That was good going, oh sorry, that was dabu going, Eric! We viewers needed that laugh and to know you still have you sense of humor after all this time! And the giggle that followed when the one player announced to Jeff Probst the name and what it meant - did you see Jeff's face? He knew "Dabu" did not mean "good", and wasn't even from the language - if there is a "micronesia" language! Hummmm... I was waiting for Jeff to say something like "No, that isn't a word", but he didn't and then that little odd look on his face, thanks for that fun chuckle, Jeff!

And bats? Have you ever eaten one? Gotta give James the Food Challenge Award for giving it a try and not even whincing! He said he rather liked it! Go figure!

The Immunity Challenge - boy howdy, that one was a breath-taker! Wow, those guys that lasted the longest and Eric who won it...Gotta give them all credit on that one! Basically, they had to hang under water until they were covered with the water and then see how long they could hold out! I believe the last timer said about an hour fo Eric, the winner. But I was holding my breath along with them...okay, not as long along, but gasping! Really got into that one! And I bet those still hanging under water (if they could hear him) were saying in their minds - "Shut Up JEFF!!!" as he'd announce the progress of each one and how hard it was and looked!

And then the buzz of who to vote off - Eliza or Alexis. Boy did that run up the flag pole! But Eliza was voted off - BUT.... only after presenting the "Immunity Idol"...at least what Eric thought was the Immunity Idol! Ozzy had placed a phoney one on Exile Island the first time he was there. Eric found it and told Eliza that if he wins Immunity Challenge, he'd give it to her. He won, gave it to her and she immediately knew it wasn't the real thing! "Just a stick!" she said! But when Jeff announced it wasn't the real thing, of course she jumped to her own defense and announced that Ozzy had the real one. How'd she know that? Did I miss something? I remember Ozzy telling someone but not her, never do understand why they disclose that information to anyone - alliance or not. But anyway, everyone knows now that Ozzy has it as he did admit it and had to love that little triumphant grin and little chuckle he was giving when she presented the phoney idol to Jeff!

So now, things have changed so much. Eliza is the first member of the Jury - and she doesn't like anyone now! And those survivors still playing, everyone seems so angry at each other. Nobody likes anybody else! I don't even see any alliances going on. Next weeks will be good, probably. Now that they are all over the several "things have changed" issues of this week, they can get back to playing the game.

Pizza Delivery to Survivor Micronesia!

Ozzy and the Idol, Eric takes a fall and ......

And another one is voted off - Ami, a Fav. Well, we all saw that one coming, didn't we? Just took a little longer. She's been "on the list" for a few weeks now.

Eric took some good hits on the challenge - hope his chest is feeling better! But boy, he sure did carry that team to near victory. To bad that tribe didn't win.

And Pizza Delivery? On an Island? Leave it to Survivor! That was the reward for the challenge. But I just have to ask, why is it always wine or beer they serve as the beverage? Why is it never fresh water, iced tea, milk or juice or even soda? It is always wine or beer. What if a tribe member doesn't drink? Guess they'll start now!

I was surprised that the one tribe "allowed" Ozzy to be the one to go to Exile Island and not participate in the challenge. He is a strong, physical player. I'd thought that they would have wanted their strongest players on the challenges. Plus it automatically awarded him immunity at Tribal Council if his team won and with the skuttlebutt around the camp - he is one the "weaker" tribe members have been trying to vote off. But it worked for him, he was safe and he found that someone else found his "phony" Immunity Idol. He doesn't know who, but could easily back track and remember who's been to the island since he was there and found the real idol...just to see if it was someone on his own team. And the one that got the phoney idol... wasn't that Eric or Jason? Wonder if they will figure it out? Should be interesting. Finally, something to look forward to instead of more bickering and arguing!

So on we go...previews indicate that next week is the Tribal Merge, so in a way we start over...this time with individual competition instead of team work. I can see Ozzy, Eric, James and Jason holding their own on most any type of challenge, but quite frankly, I don't see why any of the others left deserve to win. I can't even think of their names, so they haven't been to much of a contribution in my eyes. Well, there is Ciria - who just sits back and does nothing but instigate voting off stronger players. And the one - Pavarity...but only remember her as she hooks up with James. None of the women have made an impression to the show as far as I can see. Oh well, just a few more weeks and we'll know who out played, outwitted and out lasted the other 15 survivors!

February 20 Episode
Missed the show last night? Watch it here!
What Were Their Final Words?
They show a few seconds of each cast-off's "final words" at the end of each episode, but here is ALL they had to say in their final farewell!
(there is a brief commercial before the FINAL WORDS is aired, but it is quick, just hold on a second!)

Survivor: Who is Outplaying Whom?

I didn't catch that it aired on Wednesday instead of Thrusday, so I missed the first half of the show. Apparently I only missed Kathy demanding to quit and leave, which she did. If she didn't want to be there, why'd she "apply"? As a fan, she knew the "goings on" and how it all worked. Oh well...

Tracy was then voted off, she had been in the running for awhile now. Ozzy did his usual strong effort to take the hardest part of the challenge and come through with flying colors!

And Ciria...at first I was disgusted with her as all she does is complain about the weak players being threatened by Ozzy. I'd "tell" her, "get up off you lazy butt and go make a difference instead of just sitting there with all the others that don't have a a clue and try to win this thing!". Seemed all she did was tell the "weaker" players to vote off the stronger ones. Since the tribe switch, I can't keep track of who is on which team and which team wins, but I'd say to her, vote off the weaker ones so your team is made up of strongest players for the challenges, but also the stronger players for work at the camp. But no, she just keep her vigil up, talking the wearker ones into voting off the stronger. How stupid.

Well, a little more thought, and I figure, she is really playing the game - she is outwitting! If she can get rid of all the stronger players she has better chance of winning as she is on equal ground with the other wearker players...until the merge. But in the mean time she has a team of weak players, probably loosing the challenges and having to vote more off. Okay, every one seems to like here so the more "others" she get voted off, the better her chances are of being there when the merge happens.

Plus, if the other team is dong the same, when the merge happens, the new tribe will be nothing but weaker people when the individual challenges start and she'll have better chance of winning!

I won't vote for her, I vote for Ozzy as he is playing all levels of the game, and not just sitting there strategizing how to make the playing ground even.

Episode #5 - Joel Is Voted Off! Good Grief!

Last week Joel was voted off. A Huge surprise to everyone! Joel and not Chet? Who'd a thunk it! But Ciria was the one that played the "us weaker players" card and boy, they all rallied! Obviously they aren't interested in winning any challenges or they'd keep the strong ones now and once the merge happens, then vote off the weaker ones, but out-wit doesn't seem to be a portion of this survivor season!

Then this week, they don't just vote Chet off, he ASKED to be voted off. He had a little problem with his heel...at least that is all I saw. Bless his heart, Jonathan had no choice but to leave to save his leg and he was so mad about that, but Chet couldn't hang out a little longer to be a help to this fellow alliance team mates and vote Ozzy off and then agree they'd vote him off next week? Although I am glad that didn't happen, guess the right one was voted off in spite of everything!

I thought sure Chet would come through for his team mates when Ozzy said in Tribal Council that he knows for sure he isn't going home, and admited that "we all know it is Chet going home tonight". The look on Chet's face, boy, I thought sure he'd change his mind and stick with his Eric and other team mates and vote Ozzy off, just for being so confident! But he didn't come through for them and this will probably be a huge "talk about" for the seasons to come - just like Johnny Fairplay only opposite!

I thought it odd too, that Jason volunteered to go to Exile Island. He had a plan tho! He found the fake idol that Ozzy planted and as he was talking about it, I noticed he wasn't very surprised. Then when he announced that he thought Ozzy had it, it all feel together - he'd figured out Ozzy's plan! Good going! I enjoy the show so much better when "out-wit" is a team player! But since we all know Ozzy does have the Immunity Idol, my question is this....whenever anyone finds that little creature, WHY do you they go tell anyone else that they do have it!?!? I can't figure that one out! Obviously you can't trust anyone so why divulge the information to be used against you? Ozzy told someone last week that he had it. Why?

But I did like that the one group of fans, headed up by Eric, tried to orchestrate what they called the "craziest play ever!" in Survivor. They couldn't do it without Chet and he didn't want to play. Although I think Ozzy is a good mental player and at this point, hope he wins....it was quite a good plan they cooked up. They'd vote him off, if he had the idol he'd have to use it and at least they'd know he only had one more time and then he'd be voted off.

And another question of all time.... when there is a food reward, why is it ALWAYS accommpanied by wine? Never water, milk, juice...always wine and sometimes beer? Why is that? And what if a player doesn't drink either? He goes without? Why is getting them at least tipsey, if not more, something Survivor wants to happen? Anyone have an answer for that?

Episode 4 - Still arguing but one has a strategy!

Ozzy is playing it smart and under the radar!

Episode 4 aired last night
and if it hadn't been for the challenges, it would just have to have the torch put out. I mean, it started right off the bat, picking up exactly where it left off last week with Jonathan and Ciria arguing! Good grief...can we please move on!!

And it did! Ozzy was very interestingly using his knowledge of YauMan from the previous season and as he found the immunity idol on Exile Island, he made a "dummy" idol and hide it where he found the real one. Thing is, ever wonder how they are able to hide such a large idol in their next-to-nothing dress attire? Ozzy was able to fit it in his hat, but that hat isn't going to stay on! Guess we'll see! He is using strategy, similar to how Todd (Survivor: China's winner) did in the previous China season. In the Reward Challenge, it was interesting to see that he was able to swim so well and think so quickly under water and push all the lettered coconuts forward so his team mates didn't have to stay under water so long looking them. Good going, Ozzy! Funny tho, it seems that the less dominate guys are the ones with the strategy - they aren't the ones that are doing all the arguing, gripping and complaining! Hum...wonder if Jonathan and Ciria can grasp that instinct!

And while on Exile Island, I at first, thought it was nice of him to find Kathy food - poor girl has been on Exile Island after every Reward Challenge. But he got her a few things and then went to "find more" but spent the time looking for the idol! Talk about flying under radar!! I think Ozzy will be the one to watch out for this time!

They still show such beautiful scenery - I sure wish I could go there and actually see those beautiful clear blue waters. I mean to look down and see fish and shells! It sure would be a nice place to visit! I hope that while there, the survivors, in addition to doing their "jobs" on the team, also take advantage a few minutes a day (at least!) and take in all that beauty - hey, maybe if they'd all go look at that gorgous ocean water, they'd stop arguing and bickering for awhile!

And I can't figure it...all the Fans do is complain about Chet and his inability to preform at challenges, and yet he is not voted off. I understand that they say physical strength is not the only usable ability, but he doesn't seem to be showing ability anywhere...yet they don't vote him off.

Mikey (Fan) was voted off... and he wasn't to nice about it afterwards! Don't think him and Joel will be friends! and he wasn't to nice about it afterwards! Don't think him and Joel will be friends!

Talk a Walk through Tribal Council and

Watch the Immunity Challenge from last week

Ever wonder where or how they come up with all those amazing set decorations and ideas and all accomodating the island that they are on? Here's some of the things they use! (there is a brief commerical prior to this playing, but it is short and quick!)
A Walk Around Tribal Council With Jeff
The locals have a "hand" in the decor!
Immunity Challenge: Nut Bucket!
Watch last week's Immunity Challenge! Would you have been able to hang on that long or toss that many coconuts that high in the air?

Are the FAV's the Best At Playing the Game or...

...just the best at bickering and arguing!

And what an episode it was! This week's Survivor: Micronesia was different! It was filled with so much bickering and arguing ... and that was all! Should have been called "Bicker Island".

To me, it seems that at this point in the game the team mates should be joining together as a team and combining their individual strengths to win challenges, not splitting up the team into alliances to plan who they want to vote off next tribal council.

The Favs, boy how they just went on and on about who to vote off! Didn't see them do anything to prepare for the challenges (maybe that's why they lost!), nothing done to enhance their camp site for their comfort and survival (good thing they won the Reward Challenge!). Just bicker, bicker, bicker. I lost track of what they were bickering about - oh yeah, who to vote off...not how to be better next time. If they'd put that much effort into the challenges, maybe they wouldn't have to vote anyone off! But then I guess, they'd have nothing to do all day!

The Favs seem to be voting team mates off based on how they preformed the last time they played Survivor, not based on how effective they are to the current tribe.

And does Johnathan have an "OFF" switch? That man can go on long after the coes come home! I am surprised the rest of the team didn't vote him off just to turn him off!

And then Tribal Council. Oh good grief! Between Ciria and Jonathan going at each other... remember her saying, "If I don't trust you, you can't believe a word I say". Well, that's telling us all how the crayons colors the page!. But that bickering between her and Jonathan just got old and worn out...I went for a cup of coffee and got back to hear Jeff say "I'll go tally the votes", only to be surprised that they voted off Yau Men...what was up with that!

What Johnny Fairplay has to say....if anyone cares!

Or is this just excuses for his being the very first survivor voted off?

Wow! This guy has so much to say about himself! He had his "time to shine" but I think everyone is glad they don't have to listen to him this time around! But here is what he has to say....do you believe him or is it "Will Lie 4 Food" time?

Survivor: Micronesia - Jonny Fairplay the Day After

Fairplay reflects on his sudden change of heart and leaving the game early. He excitedly looks towards the future with no regrets about his reputation or how he played his very short game.

I am a fan! I'm actually enjoying this Fans vs Favs season, but I'm not sure why. I guess it's because I "know" half the players already. I know they say Ozzy is pretty self-centered, but I like him!

Episode 2 - odd, different and favorites won...and...

Are they hiding something from us?

So last week they choose to split a "couple". Mary was voted off without a glimmer of advance warning or thought! Her close "alliance" was as shocked as she was! What a surprise...or not. More like "how boring!"

I was not impressed with this episode at all. In fact, it seems that both teams are more concerned about teaming up alliances than playing the game. It just looks like they are only concerned about making alliances as opposed to sticking together to form a strong team to win challenges. It just seems to me at this point in time, each team should be playing as a team, not as individuals. That part comes at the time or merger when it is down to individual challenges. Well, guess we'll see this week!

But wasn't that beautiful scenery! And Exile Island - usually it is an ugly, drab, nothing looking island. But this season, it is beautiful! And I take my hat off to the 2 ladies searching for the immunity idols there. Didn't find them, but boy did they search! And strongly to...neither one of them complained! The oceans were absolutely beautiful, clear and so amazingly gorgous!

And Jeff Probst...in shorts? Can't remember seeing that before, but did it seem out of character to you? Did to me! Blue shirts, kahki pants - just not shorts! Just didn't seem like Jeff!

And I have to ask - do you watch the tribal council and while they are voting, as the camera pans the survivors faces - - - do you ever try to figure out why the cameras are showing which face at what time? I mean, is there any little "tips" going on there, that they aren't telling us? Since that is pre- recorded and the votes are already known, just not revealed, do you ever wonder if the cameras are playing games and showing the faces of the survivors that were voted for...and how many times? Hum... could be something there!

Survivor: Micronesia - Season #16 - Let the Game Begin!

The first episode has aired. Are we all excited?

To be honest, I wasn't to excited about it. When they did the Survivor All-Stars , it just wasn't up to Survivor standards, in my opinion. At first I thought, okay, give some a second chance, but when many of the "all stars" were previous winners, it just turned me off that they were giving winners a second chance. Come on Mark, they already won once, at least let non-winners have a chance!

So with that in mind and the theme of Micronesia being "Fans vs. Favs", I could see it'd be similar and sure enough it was. The Favs saying that since they knew how to play the game, the Fans didn't stand a chance. The Fans saying, since they watched the episodes, they know how the Favs play so they have the upper hand. Where's the surprise effect? Where's the "unknown" feature? They all know it all.

The best thing about the whole show was the scenery. Wasn't it the most amazing and beautiful thing to see the ariel shots of that island in the middle of the ocean? That amazing GREEN on a overwhelming BLUE! The only place I have ever seen such dramatic colors is in a box of Crayola Crayons! And that clear blue water - so clear you could see all the way down to the bottom and everything in between! Totally amazing! You can see it if you watch the UTube video below - it is near the end - the most beautiful scenery!

But of all the players, seems the one that was the most "annoying" was Johnny Fairplay. Did he play fair or did he play honest? Or dishonest? We still don't know! He was talking about being so overwhelmed at the prospect of being a father...was it for sympathy to get on the other's good side and not get voted off? Or was it true and he just wasn't into the game this time? Only the shadow (and Johnny) know for sure! Regardless, he was the first survivor voted off. No surprise there. Seems they vote off the strongest or the least trusted. Which was "Will Lie 4 Food" Johnny?

It was fun to see that it was pouring rain when they all first arrived. Even Jeff Probst was standing in the pouring rain... without a hat! But that was kind of 'hitting it hard right off the bat" way to start Survivor 16.

And do the survivors ever think to make their shelters AWAY from the beach? They always seem to make it so close to the beach that they don't utilize the natural landscape to their advantage. All those trees mean protection from the weather, but they never seem to build around them. Why pound a stack in the ground to use as structure, when they can just commondere a planted tree for that purpose?

So tune in next Thursday and see how it plays out. Isn't that when the first Exile Island comes into play and there are 2 survivors on the island looking for the same immunity idol? Who will be the most annoying, who will be the sneaky one and of course, who will be voted off!

You Saw It Here...Maybe not first, but take a look!

You Can't Have Survivor Without Jeff Probst... It Just Can't Be Done!

Jeff Probst and Survivor - A match made in heaven!

Think about it! Can you see Survivor being hosted by any other person? Taking Jeff Probst out of Survivor would be like taking the chocolate out of Ghirardelli candy! It'd be like America without baseball, hot dogs,
apple pie or Chevrolet! It's like buying tofu and grass juice at the ball game instead of peanuts and Cracker Jacks! Or horrifically, trying to replace Lucy Ricardo with any other actress than Lucille Ball!

Simply can't be done. So...who is this Survivor icon? Who is the only one to win ALL the survivor seasons? Jeff Probst . Mr.Jeff Dimples -cowboy hat-candle snuffer-"Survivors ready?"-Probst! (Have you ever wondered what happens to the candle snuffers from each season?)

Survivor: Micronesia: Fans vs. Favorites - Season #16

Survivor: Micronesia - Season #16 - will feature a new twist on the tribal competition: Fans vs. Favorites. In this 16th season (premiering Feb. 7), former Survivor standouts will take on a tribe of newbies who idolize the players they will now compete against.

The Favorites tribe features contestants going all the way back to season 7, including two from the recently completed Survivor: China - gravedigger James Clement and the person who engineered his ouster, Amanda Kimmel. Survivor: Fiji sends its most popular player, 55-year-old Yau-Man Chan, while the Cook Islands season is responsible for three contestants: flirt-tastic Parvati Shallow, triple-crossing Jonathan Penner, and challenge dominator Ozzy Lusth. Rounding out the tribe is Survivor: Panama 's Cirie Fields, Vanuatu's Eliza Orlins and Ami Cusack, and Survivor's biggest villain ever: Pearl Islands ' Jon Dalton (a.k.a. Jonny Fairplay), who once famously faked his own grandmother's death to further himself in the game. "You can't do the season and not invite your most notorious person," says Probst. "And Fairplay delivered, I will say that." Does that mean he delivers a victory? Don't bet on it, laughs Probst. "This guy is no threat to win this game - zero."

The Fans taking on the Survivor two-timers include a large-and-in-charge firefighter (Joel Anderson), a beauty pageant coach (Chet Welch), a golf course vendor (Kathleen Sleckman), and a man who scoops ice cream for a living in Hell%u2026Michigan, that is (Erik Reichenbach). In contrast to recent seasons, where contestants were heavily recruited and largely unfamiliar with the program, the new players of Micronesia are all followers of the show. How they fare against their heroes remains to be seen
