Soulless: Ann Coulter and the Right-Wing Church of Hate
As Susan Estrich states," She knows exactly what she is doing. And she is scary as hell because of it."

Soulless
A Few Facts Courtesy of Wikipedia
The title and cover art are parodies of Coulter's own Godless: The Church of Liberalism.
From Soulless:
Ann is not harmless, an amusing conversationalist. Far from it. What she succeeds in doing is dividing us against each other, polarizing us whether we want to be polarized or not (and often we do not), playing to the lowest common denominator, and not only moving the ideological line to the right, but moving it downward in the process.

Cearrai says:
Well, this is actually the first I've heard of this book, so I haven't read it yet. Probably the best way to deal with Coulter, IMO, is to ignore her. I figure she probably hates that worse than anything; constant media attention is her primary means of nourishment...

Margo_Arrowsmith says:
Well, I would probably enjoy reading it, and may do so some day. Parody is probably the only way to handle Coulter. She shouldn't be dealt with seriously, but seriously she has to be dealt with. I like what Al Franken has done with her work also.

It was a complete waste of time
Susan on Ann:
She has a private and a public side. But she is consistent as can be, right-wing to the core, pleasant or pumped up. She is one of many demagogues on the right. She is the smartest of the group. Personally I get along just fine with her. Professionally I hate what she is doing to our politics.

Liberals can't just come out and say they want to take more of our money, kill babies, and discriminate on the basis of race.
At least when right-wingers rant, there's a point.

- This morning I got a full dose of Godless vs Soulless -- quite a trilogy of lenses!!! Gives one pause -- and definitely worthy of an intelligent debate of "substance."

- From what I've heard of Coulter's book "Godless", its primary point is that modern liberalism is a cult or religion of sorts. I think the same could be said for modern conservatism (which is probably the point Estrich intends to make), and the right-wing cult extends well being Coulter, Limbaugh, Savage et. al.
Anyway, good lens! What is your take on the right-wing "church", by the way? I always look for a bit of personal commentary in political lenses...
