Welcome! My name is Susie Lehto and I am not a Native American, but I am an American of the Finnish descent. My 4 grand parents were from Finland. I got nick named Tipi the Tipigal and I liked it and adopted it. It was living in a Sioux tipi that earned me the name.

Welcome, to Tipi's lensography (a.k.a.) Tipi the Tipigal! I live in Fargo, North Dakota in the United States of America and have many interests as you will see.

A recent Squidoo lens I published is about the ghostly orb pictures I have taken. Orbs are referred to in Scriptures as 'merkabah' in Ezekiel. I captured a rare photograph of an orb with the face of an animal inside of it.

I have been a member of Squidoo since June 26th, 2008. I love making lenses and sharing about living in a tipi or teepee. I'm Tipigal on Twitter and other social websites. I have several lenses in the Top 100 Lenses and one that is the #1 Lens in Local. I enjoy the other lensmasters I have gotten to know, there are great people on Squidoo. I do feature other people's lenses and lensmasters on my lenses to show community support.

I am single by choice, and I have three adult children, 2 sons and 1 daughter. I have 2 grand-daughters and a grand-son who was born in May 2009. My God given talent is creative artist, I'm an Aquarius, and a country girl at heart. I love to be around wild animals and nature. I believe the best of everyone...to a fault!

I was in a serious car accident in 1997 when I was rear ended at a stop light at about 45 mph or more. Since than my life has changed from an active person and hard worker. I was looking for a great way to earn income on-line and was referred to Squidoo in June of 2008.

I have been a self-employed person most of my life and I love that freedom that Squidoo gives me. Squidoo has provided me with a platform to express myself and earn an income, and I am very grateful for that. I'm not getting rich fast doing it, but every month gets a little better.

I do recommend Squidoo to people who are not members, who would like to earn money for charity or for them self.

One Beautiful Night! - A Little About Me

Its not too hard to set up a tipi. This is a pisture of the tipi that I took.

The moon was full, the night air was cool and calm. Inside the tipi it was warm and cozy with an open fire. A peaceful experience!

As an artist, I find myself in a relationship with color. Being a country girl at heart, I like to bring the outdoors indoors as much as possible. That is easy to do in a tipi.

This is an original photo of the tipi I lived in. When the door was closed and the fire was burning, there weren't too many people that came to visit. When the door was open and we were milling around, people would stop by all day long or wave as they passed by slowly. It is a whole different way to entertain guests, just break out the marshmallows and pass out some sticks.

I would love to have a unique wedding in a tipi or wedding tent someday. That would be one of the most unique wedding venues and unusual wedding venues.

Morning Coffee! - About Me

Hey, I start my day with coffee before I get to work on Squidoo lenses, too!

It is a camping experience getting the open fire going again in the a.m., and getting the coffee brewing. For some reason the coffee tastes so good, it must have had to do with the atmosphere.

One morning there was a raven sitting on a tree branch looking down through the smoke flaps. It must have been curious to see what was going on. I named that raven Peeking Tom, which seemed fitting!

I Grew Up at Lake Kabetogama, Minnesota

Voyageurs National Park

Northern Minnesota is where I'm originally from. As a child I learned how to live in a wilderness area where I shared enchanted forests with the wild animals and birds.

I have fond memories of Lake Kabetogama and love to go to visit my mom who still lives in the home my dad built. The yard is like being in a park itself and I enjoy it and the forests that surround it. Visits are precious at mom's!

You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl. I would love to return to Kabetogama to live again some day. For now my children and grand children live in the Fargo, ND area and it just seems this is where I'm suppose to be.
