I have cried rivers of unstoppable tears and those rivers have removed barriers and created new passages of flowing that led me to here. I'm so glad our paths have met!

I have been a member of Squidoo since June 26th, 2008. I love making lens and sharing about living in a tipi or teepee. I'm Tipi the Tipigal. I have several lenses in the Top 100 List. I enjoy the other lensmasters I have gotten to know, there are great people on Squidoo. I do feature other people's lenses and lensmasters on my lenses to show community support & quality of persons. I love lensographies because I can learn so much about someone on them. They tell a story about a life. I've been a Squid Angel since October 13th 2009 and I'm really happy about it!

I am single by choice, and I have three adult children, 2 sons and 1 daughter. I have 2 grand-daughters and a grand-son. My God given talent is creative artist, I'm an Aquarius, and a country girl at heart. I love to be around wild animals and nature. I believe the best of everyone. ~ I'm a Giant Squid and a Squid Angel! My goal is to have 100 great lenses an join the 100 Club on Squidoo, but I'm not in a hurry. I love adding updates to my existing lenses to make them even better.

My bucket list was to tell each of my children what I thought of them, and what hey could do if they were dropped off in the middle of no where.

One Beautiful Night! - A Little About Me... 

Its not too hard to set up a tipi with two people. This is a picture of the tipi that I took.

The moon was full, the night air was cool and calm. Inside the tipi it was warm and cozy with an open fire. A peaceful experience!

As an artist, I find myself in a relationship with color. Being a country girl at heart, I like to bring the outdoors indoors as much as possible. That is easy to do in a tipi with the ground as a floor. They can have a green house effect, and plants need watering.

This is an original picture of the tipi I lived in for the better part of a year. When the door was closed and the fire was burning, there weren't too many people that came to visit. When the door was open and we were milling around, people would stop by all day long or wave as they passed by slowly. It is a whole different way to entertain guests, just break out the marshmallows and pass out some sticks.

Morning Coffee in the Tipi! 

Hey, I start my day with coffee before I get to work on Squidoo lenses, too!

It is a camping experience getting the open fire going again in the a.m., and getting the coffee brewing. For some reason the coffee tastes so good, it must have had to do with the atmosphere.

One morning there was a raven sitting on a tree branch looking down through the smoke flaps. It must have been curious to see what was going on. I named that raven Peeking Tom, which seemed fitting!

Shelly is my sister and, I made Happy Birthdays Shelly lens for her birthday in 2008. She has her own guest book there, if you would like to thank her or just say hi. Many of you know that Shelly loves to visit lenses and isn't a member Squidoo. She sure is an angel though!

It is enjoyable to visit with people in the guest books. I have been contacted by people that grew up in the area that Shelly and I did. Even complete strangers visit me regularly. I'm simply over joyed by that.

We are both fans of Kevin Skinner since we first heard him sing. He sings like an angel! ~ Shelly sent me a link to a music video of Kevin's, and that's how I found out about him. I just felt that I had to make 2 lenses for him.

About Me - Lensmaster Tipi the Tipigal 

Name: Susie Lehto is also lensmaster "PosterChildSmile" with one lens

PostChildSmile's lens was to help find a teenage girl named Yadira Reid, who was missing. Her body was found after she took her life! My heart was broken and rebuilt. That lens remains as a point of contact for the family and loved ones.

I have been self-employed most of my life. In 1997 my car was rear-ended and I was seriously injured. At that time I was a painting, window cleaning, and janitorial contractor who worked hard in a family business. After the accident I had trouble cutting spaghetti, remembering, concentrating, and had a lot of pain. I was dizzy for about a year 24/7 and had brown-outs often. I ended-up with a syndrome called fibromyalgia and haven't had a bad-flair-up since Feb. 2008, so I feel very fortunate today.

In 2003, elven people whom I loved died from different causes. That's a lot of people to lose in a year and then to have to deal with the loss and grief. One was the young man that my daughter intended to marry.

I Grew Up at Lake Kabetogama, Minnesota 

Voyageurs National Park Where More Bald Eagles Are Viewed Than Anywhere Else

Northern Minnesota is where I'm originally from. As a child I learned how to live in a wilderness area where I shared enchanted forests with the wild animals and birds.

I have fond memories of Lake Kabetogama and love to go to visit my mom who still lives in the home my dad built. The yard is like being in a park itself and I enjoy it and the forests that surround it. Visits are precious at mom's!

You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl. I would love to return to Kabetogama to live again some day. For now my children and grand children live in the Fargo, ND area and it just seems this is where I'm suppose to be.

My Little Angel Cayden

This is Cayden the newest member of the family. Three days old and ready to go home from a Fargo hospital. Now I have two granddaughters, Bailey and Aubrey, and a grandson. Children are blessings! It is so wonderful to hold my little angel baby, who is very healthy.

    Wow - this is an impressive lensography with so much information about yourself and such a diverse collection of lenses. I also grew up in Minnesota and recently moved back....still trying to get used to the cold. Most of my extended family from my Mom's side lives in Fargo so we venture up your way quite a bit.     Janice, you are doing a very good deed with your lens and the food shelf. I used to run a food pantry out of a church basement. Put my back out carrying a 100 lbs. bag of potatoes out of my truck into the building. Never got much help with all the work involved from others, so I gave it up; and others did step in to take over. It was my honor to bless your lens, and I sure do wish you all the best with CAER. That is well worth a return visit to again. Thanks so much much for stopping by and sharing so much about yourself. Maybe we can meet someday in Fargo!!! :)

I think I gained some weight, and hope to keep it on. I might be all of 105 pounds now and still trying for more.
