How To Use Swapz

Swapz is simple. Set-up your account - this is free. You can change to an upgraded account later if you like but this isn't necessary. Find some things you would like to swap, take pictures, upload pictures & description of swaps to site. Think of some things you want. Put description of your wants in your "wantedz" section.

Pictures of your swapz are important. You can only upload 1 picture of each item with a free account - people like to see what they are swapping for.

Offering to Swap

As a new user you may well get a lot of offers for your stuff very quickly. Choose the people that you swap with carefully as you as a newbie will be expected to send your items first. If someone has completed at least 20 swaps and has a 5* rating you can be reasonably confident that they are genuine.

Below is a list of a few swappers that you can swap with confidently. Most of the people on swapz are honest but there are always a few that will try and rip you off! Be sensibly cautious and you will have no problems.

If you don't get enough offers for your stuff - make some offers yourself. The best way to do this is to find an item you would like in the Search facility on the site.

Read the swappers profile and rating to check that they look like a good person to swap with and that they have visited the site recently.

Instead of immediately offering to swap one of your items for one of theirs, send them a message asking them to check out your swapz.

Some people put items on Swapz that they want to sell, not swap - but remember this is a swapping site and you should be prepared to swap your items, not just ask for cash.
