Star Wars Galaxies Information

Star Wars Galaxies, commonly referred to as SWG, is an MMO based on the Star Wars brand. The game launched with great reviews and grew to have one of the largest active player bases.

What intriguied lots of players about the game was the diversity of the game. Unlike most MMO/MMORPGs which made you select pre-built templates, in SWG you could create your own custom template. Not only could you customized your template, you could always remove skills and retrain new skills. This was known as Flavor Of The Month as PVPers were always modifying their current skill sets.

Another great thing about SWG was the trade system. It was the most unique trade system in any MMO game, and took months to learn and truely become a godlike merchant.

The game has gone through several changes. The first change was the CU (Combat Upgrade) the next change was NGE (New Game Enhancements). Each change made more and more veteran players leave, and the game is not in shambles.
