Things to Consider in Choosing Swimming Goggles
You want to look for goggles that are what is known as a press on fit. This means that without the straps they will still stay on your eyes for longer than part of a second.
You want to ensure that the goggles are comfortable when wearing them. So the piece over your nose should not cut the skin. When the strap is on the goggles should feel firm but still comfortable on your face. The cushioning on the goggles should protect you from the edge of the goggles and at the same time form a seal.
Do not get the cheapest budget brand goggles you can find. Look at the quality of the goggles and how well constructed they are.
If you are going to be swimming in a bright area you want goggles that have a dark or smoke coloured tint. For indoor areas or dimly lit pools you will find lightly coloured or clear goggles are better.

- Great lens, thanks for the information. I would be absolutely lost without my goggles. I just find it so difficult to swim without them....my eyes burn from the cholrine. I use the Speedo vanquisher goggles and think they are great. I use the tinted ones when I race outdoors and the standard ones when I train and race indoors.
