Swimsuit Models and Your Body
Knowing a few swimsuit model rules can help you dive into the water feeling better than ever. Accentuate the positive and camouflage the flaws when you make your bathing suit choice.

Know Your Swimsuit Limitations
The Swimsuit Shopping Situation
Discount stores stock trendy models they know will sell well. That's fine if you have the body for it. When you get to the swimsuit models in your size you selections are limited to the basics. Even high end stores jump on the trendy band wagon and both only stock limited sizes.
Swimsuits for Thin to Average Bodies

Halter model swimsuit tops will boost the bust line. High-cut bottoms will give your legs a longer appearance.

Sport bra model swim tops will help minimize a full bust line. Certain styles of swim shorts will give your caboose more oomph also.
Whatever your swimsuit model selection, choose what you like and wear it proud!
Swimsuits for Real People!
Up Top:
Halters make a smaller bust-line appear bigger. A padded top will help too. Also go for bolder patterns or brighter colors across the bust to add a little pop there.
If you have a full bust-line, be sure you have plenty of support in your swimsuit. Opt for less pattern and darker colors on top. This will minimize the area.
In the Middle:
For tummy troubles, you should go with a one-piece or a tankini with a longer top or higher waistline for coverage. Vertical striping or blocked patterns will also help draw the eye away from trouble spots in this area.
If your torso is long, go for a two piece. A tankini with high-cut legs and a shorter top will shorten a long torso. In a one-piece search for swimsuit models that say long torso.
Down Low:
Got great hips? Not! Go bright up top and dark down low. Use vertical lines to draw the eye up and away. Some swim shorts styles or higher cut suits may also be flattering.
Finally there is a place to find just the right swimsuit. A place without annoying sales clerks and unforgiving three-way mirrors. A place you can shop for a swimsuit from the comfort of your computer chair.

- Your awesome, thanks for sharing this with us! I have a loooong torso that I hate and always insecure about wearing bathing suits that make it look longer. I see how the tankini may be a better fit for me!
