Swine Influenza
Swine flu is an influenza virus that has gone from swine (pigs) to humans. It is passed through direct contact just like any other flu. The problem with this flu is that it targets mainly healthy people, ages 25-40. What is unique about this virus is that it is caused by a new strain of influenza A. It has adapted to humans and found our weak points.

To keep yourself from getting the swine flu you could walk around with a mask, and gloves all day if you so like(recommended if you're a farmer dealing with swine), But for basic prevention of spreading or catching swine flu follow these measures:
- wash your hands often
- cover your mouth when you sneeze
- avoid touching your face or mouth with your hands
- Anything alcohol based works well to kill virus such as hand sanitizers
- Stay away from anyone who has flu like symptoms such as cough, or a fever
- stay away from social areas, try to avoid large gatherings of people

Some basic signs that you have contracted swine flu according to the CDC (center for disease control) are:- Fever

- sore throat
- headache
- night sweats
- chills
- body aches
- diarrhea
- vomiting
Treatment
If left untreated swine flu can be very deadly very quickly. If diagnosed with the swine flu it is best to get treated right away. Anti virual drugs work the best at lessening the illness and making the patient feel better. Tamiflu is recomended by the cdc as a treatment,and can be found in most drugstores. Now for the good news, The majority of the people infected with swine flu make a full recovery without medical attention, or the use of drugs. prevention items
