These earrings are called Sword Jewelry Wire and Beads Earrings because the basic shape of the finding that forms the outline of these earrings is similar to the shape of a Roman Gladius style sword. Since many vendors are making findings that you can purchase similar to these earrings, we thought it was time for us to make our design for this finding. This is a beginner's jewelry making project, and you can easily find all the jewelry supplies and tools you need at WigJig!
What You'll Need
Jewelry Making Supplies:One pair of ear wires (we made these ear wires)
11 inches of 20 gauge round, preferably 1/2 hard jewelry wire.
Jewelry Making Tools:
Flush cutter .
Round nose pliers
Bent chain nose pliers (2)
Nylon jaw pliers
Fine Step Jaw Pliers
Any WigJig Jewelry Making Tool
Ruler
30 minutes of free time
Jewelry Making Techniques:
Ability to make a loop in wire.
Ability to bend wire to make wire components on a jewelry making jig.
Ability to cut with with a flush cutter.
Ability to straighten wire with nylon jaw pliers.
Ability to make a bead dangle.
