Synaura International is just beginning. Mona Vie has been around since 2005. Why would I choose to promote brand new Synaura over well established Mona Vie? Why might you consider the same thing?

Having been a part of several Company launches in the past, I can tell you from experience, a lot can go wrong when a Company starts. For example it could never get off the ground or it takes years to do so. I've recruited people in one of these only to lose them because things just didn't happen fast enough. In another, I built it very successfully only to have it shut down. Starts ups are risky.

Yes it's exciting to hear about something early on, go and get domain names or search engine placement before others, but this isn't important if no one looks for the Company because it's not liked, few people join it or it doesn't have mass appeal. This has not proved to be the case with Synaura.

With Synaura I knew right from the beginning it was different and that it would be successful. Not just experience tells you this, but it really helps to talk to and get to know the owner. That's exactly what I did. I talked with Dan Maltais back in July of 2008. I was one of the first to know about Synaura.

Will Synaura be more successful than Mona Vie? Well, I heard about Mona Vie way before I heard about Synaura. What was my first thought about Mona Vie? What did my research find?

My first thought was, aren't there enough "juice" Companies already? Why do we need another one? Interestingly, that's what I thought about Synaura too. However, Mona Vie was achieving great success and I began to wonder why. So let me write about it first.

What I did was I started to ask around, have you ever tried Mona Vie? What does it taste like? Did it do anything for you? Interestingly, I found quite a few people who had tried it and said it tasted good but didn't do anything for them or gave them a this or a that as in something like a headache.

Quite a few people told me that they had been sent a bottle, tried a bottle or were contacted by someone about it and never pursued it because it didn't interest them. Yet, reports indicate that hundreds of thousands of people joined Mona Vie. So why didn't I join?

For one thing, I was already taking ACAI. I didn't need to have eight other juices added to it. In fact, how many different juices is it wise to mix together? I mean we don't eat an apple then a pear and then a banana and then an orange, do we? And we certainly don't take orange juice, add apple juice and then mix in a little cranberry juice just because they have different vitamins and minerals in them?

Not that there aren't a lot of mixed juices on the market. But did you ever stop to think how much real fruit juice is in any of those? If ACAI is the main ingedient in Mona Vie, how much of the other juices are really in there? And can't you now go to Trader Joe's or other Health Food Stores and buy Acai for a lot less?

So the idea of there being a lot of different juices in one product didn't impress me. Yet, it did impress a lot of people, including some very good and successful network marketers. So why shouldn't I get in on the band wagon? There were other reasons I didn't join Mona Vie.

I certainly didn't like the idea of it having a Binary Compensation Plan. In fact, I have been told of quite a number of people who have an unbalanced down line and a lot of their volume is going to the Company and not the distributor. Comp Plans with flushing or a lot of "breakage" can be harmful to a distributors financial health. So the Mona Vie Comp Plan did not appeal to me either.

So I did not believe in the product or the Comp Plan, was there anything else? On the one hand, joining an established Company has its benefits and on the other hand, it has its drawbacks. How much of the market had been approached or taken? Who was left that had not heard about or joined Mona Vie? Which great marketer was suddenly going to "get it" about Mona Vie and want to join under me? Probably none. What would your chances of success be in Mona Vie?

I guess the real clincher for me was all the controversy about Mona Vie, the so called "benefits" of the product and all the claims that were being made by its distributors on the Internet. I could go into a lot of detail on this subject and provide a lot of links to make my point, but this blog is not really about Mona Vie. I've learned to never join a Company or an owner with a lot of controversy.

In hearing about Synaura, I thought, do I really want to get involved with a so called "juice" Company? I decided to approach the Company and Product, AVIA, with an open mind and take a long look because for some reason, many people go bonkers over these types of product Comapnies. I knew for myself, it had to be better, different and something new or unique.

Synaura is just that. Owner Dan Maltais wanted a product that worked, a product that helped people, something that people could actually feel the difference.He definitely did not want another juice. So he sought out one of the most respected medical Doctors associated with anti-aging and asked him to help formulate AVIA, Dr. Kenneth Kroll.
