Synthesizer

Ranked #48,047 in Entertainment, #545,487 overall

My synth of choice is a Micromoog, circa 1975-1979.  A single voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) monosynth with plenty of raw analog power delivers the goods on raw lead hooks.  Its sound is easily polished with chorus and delay, and contours the warmest tone with a good tube preamp.

Despite this bias, I'm not a vintage-snob.  I love playing with software synths, new digital synths with analog modeling, sequencers, samplers and the like.  New to synthesis?  The MicroKorg is an inexpensive way to get started.
