Teach Yourself Guitar Software for Computer and on DVD
There is a new piece of teach yourself guitar software on the market which is easy to use and responds to voice commands to let you learn at your own pace.
Whether you're looking for specific songs or just generally want to learn some easy guitar songs it is simple with these digital guitar lessons. Sessions typically cost $7-$10 but they're worth every penny because they teach entire songs end to end.
I've always felt that the best way to learn guitar combines visual learning with audio and touch. It is not enough to hear someone play a note or chord, you'll learn better if you see the technique and hand positions, and then learn it in a song you've heard on the radio.
By picking a few easy guitar songs you get lessons that you can see on the fretboard as well as hear. That's great - and when you combine it with the teach yourself guitar comprehensive video lessons on DVD you have the best learning tools for guitar.
Amazing Guitar Song Teaching Software for Your PC
Watch the Fretboard Right on Screen with Hands-Free Operation
Have you ever thought... "gee wouldn't it be nice if my computer could play these pages of tablature while I practiced so I could learn faster?" Now you can. These days computer programs exist that allow you to download guitar tablature onto your computer and have the computer play the notes for you. Meanwhile the computer screen actually shows you the frets and strings to press and play on the fretboard right on your screen. Check out the video of the program below. It is simply amazing. It responds to audio commands ("play slower"... "play faster" etc.). It also allows you to loop through phrases and passages until you've mastered them enough to move on to the next section. Enough of me yammering... watch the video and see what I mean.

DVD Lessons That Go Beyond Tablature
While it's great to have all your favorite guitar song lessons either printed out (or better yet) on your PC, it's really not enough to know how to learn and master the guitar. In order to understand technique and learn how to improvise you really need the comprehensive DVD lesson set sold here. There is really no faster way to learn than by watching someone else play guitar and then having them slowly and precisely demonstrate technique, over and over again until understood.
Teaching Yourself Guitar Can Save You a Thousand Dollars
Guitar lessons with a private tutor could easily cost a thousand dollars over time, and believe me even the most saintly instructor's patience is going to wear thin when you ask to see the slide technique for the 50th time. We're only human after all. A DVD guitar lesson on the other hand, never needs sleep, and doesn't care if you just don't have a clue. Hit rewind as many times as you want and the DVD guitar songs lesson plays again, no complaints, no variation. A good set of lesson DVDs is a must for anyone determined to learn how to play good guitar.

- Learning to play a musical instrument such as a guitar, certainly is related to math. I discovered this when in high school I decided to read a book about chord progression in music composed by Bach. I discovered that it was possible to write short musical passages using this mathematical formula that would sound, when played on the piano, amazingly like Bach had composed them.
Thank you for linking to my Hands-On Math lens.
