After two years of marriage and disputing over who was going to clear the table after dinner, my wife and I came to the sensible conclusion that we should have children. Being naive, we did not take into account three years of diaper changes, twelve years of scraped knee repair, nor the near infinite amount of food consumed by a child (as well as the fact that they produce their full share of table debris - and more). However, our dreams finally did come true and we now have a daughter who is proficient at table clearing.
