Table Generator by SQUIDUtils.com
The <table> and associated tags are not permitted on Squidoo, and if you attempt to put these into your lens, they will get stripped out. The Table Generator will convert CSV data or a HTML table into code that is compatible, and looks just as good.
Below is a step-by-step guide on creating a table for your own lens.
5 Easy Steps
Before you begin, you will need to have the Table Generator open in a new tab or window.
- Enter your data
It's best to compose your data externally, either in a text editor or a spreadsheet. Build up your table in one of the formats listed below, and then copy-n-paste it into the box provided. - Select the format
Depending on the format you wrote your data in, you should pick the option that matches. If you are pasting in an existing table from a source code of a web page, then select the HTML option. To modify a table previously generate with this tool, pick the bottom option. - Choose the style of table
Decide on how you want your table to look, using the available borders, shading and alignment. You can set the color of the borders and shading using color names (e.g. "yellow") or hexcodes (e.g. "#FEDCBA"). - Press the button
When you press 'Generate HTML', the preview underneath will update to reflect the data and options you have chosen. If it is not quite right, you can change the options and press it again. - Copy the code
Beneath the preview is the code that has been generated for you. Simply select it all, and paste it into your lens.

- What I like about this tool is that I can create a table in my html editor and get everything where I want it. I can then paste it into the table generator and create an html table that is almost the way I want it.
What I don't like at the moment is that it doesn't create borders or backgrounds the way I want it.
However, it is a good start.
Thanks
